Random stories….

Sometimes we forgot how big Australia is. Ye lah kan, it’s only an island Smile.

But the weather for the past few weeks memang betul2 tunjuk how big it is. It’s been flooding in Queensland, rain and cold Autumn weather in Sydney, scorching temperature here in Perth up to 41°C with bushfires but snowing on the mountains in Tasmania Smile. And it all happened masa Summer. Kalau lah boleh syphon the flooded water kat Queensland tu ke Perth yang dah kering sangat2 kan ke best. Baru lah takde water restrictions anymore because all the dams have been filled. Boleh lah I siram pokok bunga and kebun tu dengan sewenang2 nya, hehehe….

Bayangkan lah, jarak from Perth (kalau naik kereta) to Eucla which is the town bordering Western Australia and its neighbour, South Australia tu pun dah 1500kms. And itu baru nak cross 1 state! hehehe. Jarak from JB ke Bukit Kayu Hitam pun baru 880kms and dah crossed so many states Smile.

Itu sebabnya, Gold Coast yang kat Queensland tu pun we all tak pernah pergi lagi but balik bercuti kat M’sia dah berkali2 Smile. It’s cheaper to fly to Bali from Perth than fly to Gold Coast! Especially bila you kira ongkos accomodation and food lah kan.

Kalau pergi bercuti ke Bali, we all jadi millionaire, kalau bercuti ke Gold Coast, memang opposite of millionaire lah, hahahaha.

Tapi apakan daya, The Other Half busy Summer ni so takdelah we all akan bercuti ke mana2. Duk melepak kat Perth ajelah nampak gayanya, hehehehe.

2 weeks gone, 4 more weeks of holidays to go……sigh……..

(Unbelievably, The Little Misses have been playing together so nicely and without any tiffs for the past few days! Gelak2 bertepuk tampar tanpa ada yg menangis or mengamuk!)

Malam ni for dinner, I made smoked salmon pasta again but since dah banyak kali tayang, I tayang what we had for dinner a few nights ago lah ye.

I kan sekarang tgh nak menurunkan berat badan sikit sambil nak stay fit. So I made crumbed chicken schnitzel salad for dinner for everyone.

Tapi pinggan I, I letak lebih2 salad lah and pinggan orang lain I letak lebih2 baked potato wedges and chicken Smile.

So far, I’m doing great, with daily 30 min exercise (well, 5-6 days a week) and reducing my junk food, my sweet drink intakes and increasing my vege portion, I’ve been losing about 100-200g/day.

So, if I terus buat macam ni sebulan ni, maulah I turun 3kg kan!

Yabedabedoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(But it’s a BIG if……..The temptation to eat all those sweet stuff is too great sometimes, hehehehe)

I nak kurus balik mcm a few years ago, hehehe. And hubby pun tgh hari2 exercise skrg, so tu yg join sekali :-)

LG semuga IF tu jadi pembakar semangat nak kuruskan badan yg dah sedia kurus tu! kak rose baru bukak treadmill, nak larinya tah bila pulak!

caiyok! caiyok!!! ayu pun tgh b'usaha keras utk trnkan berat badan.haih...tp paling ayu bengang 2 bila ayu ajak hb pi riadah waktu ptg,dia leh ckp 'xyah la yang...hari2 dah trn naik tangga.b'jalan lg nak blk ke umah..okla tu'.ni time dia shift petang la...selang semggu.ggrrr...tak bg semangat lgsg! tp xpe...ayu leh gunakan ainnur utk dia bwk ayu pi jog kat tasik.bkn jauh pun dr umah

I pun dalam proses nak turunkan berat badan ni...dah terasa gempal sangat ni...macam giant la pulak...tapi kan, nak lawan selera makan tu yg payah sikit tu, lagi2 kalau I masak..mmm, takkan tak jamah langsung kan..dan satu lagi...camne lah nak avoid drpd makan sweet2 food yang menggoda jiwa tu....oh! kuatkan lah semangat I ni utk kurus!!!!

Azam tahun barukah? Baguslah, sebab mencabar diri sendiri bila berjaya pasti lebih puas hati.

Anak-anak dah tak bergaduh? Itu tanda mereka semakin matang dan semakin bijak utk bertolak ansur.

41 degrees - macam tak pernah ku kenal je tahap kepanasan setinggi ni. Agak2 Perth dengan Shah Alam, kan, mana lebih dekat dengan khatulistiwa, ya? The panasest yang I pernah encounter pun masa pergi F1 Circuit kat Sepang many years back - baru about 38 degrees. Can't imagine how you take it, LG. Nak mandi banyak2 kali pun, air kena catu pulak, ya? Tak pelah, we take it as a test from the Al-Mighty.

wooohh.. ntah apsal tis summer i mean in december hari tu hanya 1 day je 42°c degree which was the hari of new yrs eve. la ni sejuk balik. aaiisshhh... apa ke benda nye summer nih eh.
betul la u kata, nak pegi bali is cheaper than nak gi goldcoast. miskin terus kalau nak gi sana kan.
oh btw, happy new yr to u & ur family. ceria2 selalu.

anyways, nak tanya pasal resepi u buat waffle hari tu. i bought a waffle maker, but so far my waffles tak sesedap yg kat max brenner punye. boleh u share ur resepi for ur waffle yg u buat hari tu?

Memang susah nak disiplinkan diri untuk kuruskan badan.Kak Zai dah cuba banyak kali tapi tak jadi2.Semoga lg beroleh kg yang di impikan.

hahaha...samalah mcm I. Mesin exercise tu ada kat luar tp tak guna2 jugak. Skrg ni I exercise pakai wii aje :-)

Hehehe...kita nak beriadah bersama2 ala2 loving family gitu ye ;-).
Asal awal tahun aje, memang I ni semangat nak bagi turun sikit berat tp slalunya hangat2 taik ayam aje, hahaha

Kalau I jadi you pun, sure nak merasa everytime I buat chiffon cake n segala mcm cakes yg you bake kan.
Memang susah weh nak halang nafsu ni. Tu yg I kena exercise everyday so tak perlu sgt lah I ikat perut :-)

I dulu pernah turun kurus betul sbb exercise n jaga makan habis2. Even hubby I pun turun jadi kurus habis :-).
Skrg dah naik sikit balik, tu yg kena turunkan sebelum dia naik banyak :-)

I kan klu pergi buffet apa2, the first place I tengok is their dessert bar!

41C n 42C tu kira slalu jugak lah during Summer ni. Memang panas sgt2, tu yg kalau boleh, memang terperuk aje kat rumah under the aircond :-).

Kat Perth pulak memanjang panas! Memang takde below 35C lah. Pastu giler2 nya humid sekarang ni. Memang tak larat.

Nasib baik tukang masak nya I so boleh jugak lah buat benda2 healthy masa lunch. Dinner tu kena masak berat sbb hubby pun nak makan :-).

Hajat nak kuruskan badan tu memang sentaisa terpahat kat dada kan :-). I pun sama mcm you :-)

I tak pandai masak paru, tu yg masa my parents dtg sini dulu, I suruh Mak I masak sekilo and tinggal freeze aje lepas tu :-)
