No more western food on Day 3 :-)

Baru hari ke 3 Ramadhan, I dah malas nak tayang gambar kuih, hehehehe.

Nampak sangat lah I ni jenis recycle all my kuihs kan Smile with tongue out.

Untuk Iftar malam ni, I cuma kukus instant red bean buns kedaimari (amat digemari ramai), reheated crepes semalammari (but makan dengan caramelised apples which was so so yummy) and kaya toast.

Bila I’ve listed it down, banyak jugak kuih we all tadi ni kan! But every single one habis dimakan! Macam ada bela belaan aje I tengok diaorang makan tadi, muahahaha…..

Tak sempat I nak ambik gambar langsung. But bila fikir balik, the red bean buns cuma yg mini tu aje and ada 9 in 1 packet, the crepes pulak cuma tinggal about 7 kot and so so nipis, the kaya toast pulak I buat 3 flat toasts aje so maybe sebab tu kot semua habis dibedal Winking smile.

And for dinner pulaknya, I made Nasi ayam penyet. Ini kali ke 3  or ke 4 I buat nasi ayam penyet ni. I guna recipe dari Blog Ijan Finland yang memang super duper marvelous itu. Untuk people yang tak pernah merasa ayam penyet and nak tau macam mana rasa nasi ayam penyet ni, do use Ijan’s recipe sebab you will fall in love with nasi ayam penyet straight away, hehehe.

I takde ulam ulaman so I just guna choy sum(or was it sawi?) stir fried in garlic and oyster sauce as sayur.

Sepatutnya lagi merah kaler sambal tomat ini tapi sebab I guna chili hijau semua, tu yg kaler dia ala2 segan nak menyerlah Smile.

Instead of goreng the ayam, I just baked it in the oven sebab malas nak menggoreng. But I added some oil kat rempah ratus perapan ayam tu so still lah ada rasa lemak2 minyak masa makan ayam tu Smile.

For dessert pulak, we had sagu gula melaka and durian (2 separate desserts not durian in the sagu, hehehe).

Sagu makan dengan evaporated milk. Sebab dah terbiasa makan dengan susu cair, I tak boleh dah makan sagu gula melaka dengan santan.

The best frozen durian we’ve tasted so far. It was worth the dollars, hehehe. 

Yang best nya, it was seedless so we basically pay for the flesh aje lah which is so good. Tak payah nak kopek2 kulit, cuma tinggal kopek the plastic wrapper aje!

The Other Half loves durian but only as is. He doesn’t like durian in bubur kacang or in cake or in ice cream or with pulut or with anything. He likes it just like that Smile.

What to cook tomorrow?????

Salam kak LG! waaaaaa.. nasi ayam penyet ijan mg best! kita buat buka hari pertama, pastu paginyer g ulang alik masuk toilet hihihi.... sedap mmg! besok nak buat menu2 sagu lah pulak mcm mengidam pulak tgk akaknyer sagu niii :D

Lg, jarang sekali dgr mat salleh suka durian..your other half is definitely different..
nak tergelak i bc bila u kata ada bela belaan..terbayang2 cerita setam yg sll tayang kat tv..

sagu makan dengan susu sejat...kena try nanti...sure sedap kan.

Biasanya "org putih" tak suka makan durian...bau pun tak tahan tp your hubby boleh makan ye ;-)

anyway weird gak sebab suke durian tu je tapi xske durian ice cream or whatsoever..huhu.first time mkan ayan penyek kat damansara..sedap

today we all had durian for iftar too. but serawa durian. sham's favourite! dia and iffah makan 2 mangkuk. i didnt eat any coz like Matt, i cuma makan durian as is :)

I love ayam penyet too! my friends n i slalu buat jalan2 cari makan kdai ayam penyet plg sdap.. so far yg kat padang jawa is still the best n murah n nasi free flow. hahahaa

anyhow, just wanna drop a big salam ramadhan.

My hubby tu suka sgt2 makan durian tapi tu lah, durian mcm tu aje. I rasa sbb Winter kot, tu yg diaorang semua makan mcm ada belaan, hahaha.

I love serawa durian and durian in bubur kacang but rasa wasting pulak kalau buat and I sorang yg makan. So might as well jsut makan as is aje :-).

kesian kan bila puasa masa Summer ni, lambat nak berbuka unlike we all yg puasa masa winter ni :-).

Salam Ramadhan to you too. You know what, I have never tried any ayam penyet kat Msia so memang tak boleh nak compare mana sedap. One day I kena lah try ayam penyet kat Padang Jawa (kat area Klang kan) tu. I think it's the sambal that makes it worthwhile kan :-).

Lucky you dapat husband yang appreciate durian.My hubby, not only durian dia makan nak termuntah ( not the smell but texture ),any kind of fruits pun dia tak boleh terima.If I paksa him to eat a banana, he'll take an hour to finish that 1 banana...tension I tengok.Not only that, eggs pun dia payah nak makan.Funnykan my hubby ni...I thought mat salleh likes all the above...maybe not durian lar. Tapi, if bagi him cili padi or serrano / jalapeno, bukan main laju lagi masuk mulut...chocolate toksah cakap ler...geram I!!

dh pernah sekali buat nasi ayam penyet, I ikut resepi yg akak link kan kt blog akak ni. mmg sedap, sambal dia tu yg x dpt dilupakan...ayam tu I pakai alu lesung utk ketuk2kan dia bagi penyet..baguslah TOH makan durian walaupun as is. jarang mat saleh yg suka/boleh makan durian ni. bau pun dorang dh x tahan!

Durian tak berbijik?Wah ini sudah bagus...tak payah nak perit jerih jadi wonder woman nak kopek kulit durian..my hubs dulu anti-durian sekali lepas bagi rasa seulas...dia pulak yg lebih dari saya..hehe mengalahkan orang Malaysia pulak.
Ni pun dia baru balik dari hospital..cardio prob..err which reminds me,TOH masih berbasikal ke office ke sekarang?Sebab ramadhan ni rasanya susah sikit but is he still doing it?

Ate kagum dengan kerajinan memasak LG dan suka mencuba pelbagai resepi. Sekali masak tuk Iftar berapa banyak menu complete ngan dessert. Mmg you 'ikat' TOH and 2 Mizz Manizz tu di perut eh...:)

Ha'ah lah, funny jugak your hubby when it comes to food ye. I love bananas, you dont have to force me to eatt hem :-). My hubby pun doesnt like veges much but he will eat them because he knows that they are good for him and to set a good example for the kids, hehehe.

Kat sini ada durian with kulit as well but like you, I pun takut nak beli sbb takut tak sedap inside, rugi aje kan :-).

Gigigh you mengetuk ayam tu ye, hehehe. I kiranya buat bukan ayam penyet lah sbb I tak penyekkan dia. But sambal tu memang sedap sgt2 kan!

I memang bercadang nak buat serimuka, tepung pelita, lopes soonish. But setakat ni buat yg senang2 dulu, hehehe.

It's frozen though the durian so kureng lah sikit the kick but still berbaloi sbb tak payah susah payah kopek and buang biji, hehehe.
He's still cycling to work tapi cuma sehala aje lah during Ramadhan ni, sama ada pergi or balik he'll cycle. Then he catches the bus the other way :-).

I rasa lagi lemak berkrim bila makan dgn susu sejat ni, lagi sedap kat tekak I, hehehe.
I suka sgt benda goreng2 ni tapi kdg2 tak larat satu rumah berbau bila lepas menggoreng kan.

Awal2 ni memang rajin sikit masak utk iftar sbb nak tarik minat diaorang. Dah 3rd week tu, mulalah I start malas, hehehe.

Terer I menggoogle, hahaha. Sagu gula melaka ni salah satu benda yg senang nak buat, tu yg I suka buat, hehehe.

kat malaysia kdai ayam penyet dah makin banyak. dekat sec7 shah alam blakang uitm tu pon ada 2 kdai ayam penyet wong solo n ayam penyet AP.

n yeap dkat pdg jawa klang.kdai tu makcik2 indonesian yg masak mmg selalu penuh dgn budak2 uitm.
