Saturday night and all grown up.

Miss 12 is all grown up!!!

Malam tadi masa we all tengah lepak2 depan PC masing2, she suddenly said…

Mum, do you have a spare handbag?

I said, “Why? Haven’t you got any?

She said, “I do…but they are all the canvassy type ones and a bit big. I want something nice and pretty.”

Awwwwww…….. Anak I dah start jadi girly girl a bit, asking for her first proper handbag Smile.

Luckily, she’s got the right Mum. Kan ke her Mum ni loves collecting cheap handbags so I only had to go through my handbag collection to find a suitably cute and pretty one for her to use.

And she is muy happy to get her first real handbag! Open-mouthed smile.

I whispered to The Other Half, “your daughter is all grown up, asking for her first handbag. I feel like crying suddenly.”

Muahahahahaha…….sungguh tak larat betul Mum dia ni kan Smile with tongue out.

She asked for the handbag sebab she had a birthday party to go to tadi, at the cinema. Tu yang kena bawak handbag bergaya, hehehe Winking smile.

And while she was at the cinema, I and The Other Half did a lot of gardening/weeding while Miss 7 did some cycling.

See…rumah I kan, so kenalah ada rumpun lemongrass nak sambut tamu, hehehehe….

Since it’s Winter, cuma the mixed lettuce aje lah yang betul2 flourishing.

I like the water drop right on the edge of the leaf.

Luckily the street in front of the house tak lah busy sangat so bolehlah dia ulang alik naik basikal while kita orang bertungkus lumus cabut weeds and preparing the vege patch for this coming Spring planting.

And as usual, on Saturday night, we had our dinner outside using the BBQ with a campfire. I made rolled up pizza again. I ada ambik gambar step by step but I will put the photos up esok lah ye.

Then, we all buat surprise for The Little Misses.

We had chocolate fondue for dessert. None of us pernah makan fondue ni and since sekarang ni it is making a comeback, so tu yang saje ngada2 buat choc fondue.

Punyalah happy giler diaorang sebab dapat dip all the food in the melted choc fondue Smile.

I told them so kalau lepas ni ada orang tanya, you all pernah makan fondue tak. Dengan muka berseri2, bolehlah you all jawab, of course, sudah tentu and it was so darn good, hehehehe.

We had apples, marshmallow, dried apricots and sweet biscuits to dip in the choc.

As long as it’s chocolate, muka diaorang mesti happy…heeee…..

Pastu berebut2 nak lick the fondue bowl bila dah tinggal sikit (dengan Dad dia sekali nak join), ceh!

I cant stop smiling bila baca bab pinjam handbag tu. Teringat pulak my kenit yg 5 yo tu. Last week nak dijadikan cerita, she was playing with the stuff on the dressing table. Esok pg, i nak pegi kerja, i cant find my watch & wedding ring. Panik you. Later that nite, my cha cha bg i, siap ckp, mummy i brought your stuff to school to show my friends. Speechless betul i mlm tu.

Ooohhh drooling nyer bila dengar choc fondue. Sounded very sexy youu

Sedih kan bila anak-anak dah besar. Soon they won't need us as much as before. My firstborn dah 17 this year. Sunyilah rumah bila dia gi study kat mana-mana nanti. Nak cembeng kejap.

p/s Cantiknya rambut anak you, Min.

Dinas,
It was so so gooooood!!!! :-). We all makan tak berhenti, hahaha.

Maya,
Oh my goodness, kalau I sure nak nangis for losing the wedding ring. Sure panic giler sekejap. At least dia tak pergi jual kat sekolah kan, hehehe.

Shereen,
I think sekejap lagi she can start borrowing my tshirts and what not lah kan :-).
We love banana dipped in choc as well but nowadays banana is $13/kg. Only rich people eat bananas kat sini, hahaha.

Kak Nor,
wahkahkahkah...tak boleh, kena habis study uni dulu, baru lah boleh fikir pasal boyfren ;-)

Unaizah,
I have to use the lens occasionally or else memang tak berkembang langsung the skills :-). The more they grow up, the more they can answer me back which is what I'm not looking forward to! :-)

Anash,
Ben tu dah a few times jugak terjah my blog ni. And memang pun everytime dia terjah, my traffic mencanak2 naik but only for a few days aje, pastu back to normal, hehehe.

Ayu,
Mum dia still tinggi lagi dr diaorang but not by much, hahaha.

Kak Aidah,
Luckily kat sini takde public boarding schools so memang insyaAllah my kids will stay with me for a long time lah. Lagilah klu diaorang masuk uni kat sini aje, hehehe.

Mulan,
Memang kan, sekejap aje diaorang dah besar and dah start mintak benda macam2 :-).
