The Other Half’s trip to Melbourne last week was the culmination of months of hard work consulting for this big company on accounting updates.
Sepanjang2 the busy months, he was really really busy, including during the weekends. He worked most of Saturdays and Sundays as well. Kadang2 tu, I have to make an appointment with him so he could set aside a few hours to spend with us on the weekends, hehehehe.
He would leave very early in the morning and then came home later than usual looking so tired and stressed.
Kalah kebizian menteri masa pilihan raya aje kan .
And now he’s much more happy and relaxed because a big load has been lifted off his shoulders.
(And he will smile a lot bigger once the consulting money gets paid into our bank account, hehehe).
And untuk I pulak for putting up patiently with his long working hours the past few months, I got a present from him.
I ordered it online on Sunday night and it arrived yesterday. But since I wasn’t at home in the morning semalam, I had to pick the present up this morning.
And pagi tadi I pun guna that present to cuba try test my skills around the vege garden.
This is a blueberry flower on our blueberry plant, taken using my new present .
A few droplets of water on the cabbage leaf.
And a photo of our first cauliflower that we planted. Actually the cauliflower tu bukannya besar mana pun, hehehehe….
A water droplet on the rose.
And judging from these photos, my skills masih sangat2 amateurish kan!
That’s ok, hopefully I’ll have loads of time later later to asah my skills. Lama2 nanti, pandai lah kan .
Sudah lama mengidam nak macro lens, baru sekarang dapat.
The Other Half asked whether I would like a new oven and stove as the present. I said to him, “That’s OK Love, I will use the oven and stove until they break down before buying new ones but I would like a macro lens for a present, pretty pleaseeee……..”
The Little Misses pulak will go horse riding with The Other Half this Monday as their present.
(Hadiah diaorang mestilah lagi murah dari hadiah I kan, hikhikhik)
But hadiah yang paling mahal obviously lah the one he bought for himself kan (dengan ‘restu’ bini dia, hehehe…).
He’s buying a new bike for himself! And since he’s going to use the bike 4X/week for so many years to keep him healthy and svelte and fit, terpaksalah he spend a lot of money to buy a really good bike.
But definitely much cheaper than buying a car with rego and parking fees and petrol kan! .
