The new cool word

First it’s cool, then it’s wicked, then it’s awesome….

And then when I’ve just started to get the hang of Miss 7 and Miss 12 saying awesome all the time, they’ve gone and changed it!

Now it’s not cool to say awesome anymore, now everyone is saying epic!!!!!

Epic? Eye rolling smile Puh-leeezeee…… hikhikhik….

I don’t think I can keep a straight face if Miss 7 says epic, hahahahaha….

A made up scenario:

Mum: We are having burger and chips for dinner tonite.

Miss 7: Epic!

How many times do you think I will be rolling my eyes? Open-mouthed smile.

Our dinner tonite was definitely not epic sebab I malas nak masak, hahahaha.

I made nasi goreng with sambal ikan bilis aje. The Other Half had a dinner meeting in the city so tu yang I masak nasi goreng aje for the 3 of us.

IMG_9999

Our not epic dinner, hehehe…..

And then esok pulak Miss 7’s school is having a ‘no waste lunch’. It means that the students have to bring recess and lunches in as little non-recyclable packaging as possible.

Which means kalau sape2 yang bawak sandwiches, tak boleh lah wrap in gladwrap or alfoil or greaseproof paper. Kena bawak lunches in containers or recyclable packaging.

So, adalah sorang budak yang bergeliga tu dah awal2 suggest ke I kata dia nak bawak nasi goreng wrapped in daun pisang for lunch!

(selama2 ni ekau ok aje bawak nasi goreng dalam plastic container, awat tiba2 nak balut daun pisang bagai? Ekau ingat kita ni duduk kat Ijok agaknya where senang aje nak cari daun pisang kat belakang rumah Atuk and Nenek tu Open-mouthed smile)

Nasib baik lah kita ni duduk Perth so dapatlah jugak I cari frozen daun pisang tadi. Tapi terpaksa beli sekilo sebab dia cuma jual daun pisang in kg/bag aje. First time ever I beli daun pisang sejak duduk oberseas ni, hahahaha.

Lepas ni kalau I asik buat kuih balut daun pisang, you all tau lah kenapa kan, hikhikhik…..

So, esok pagi I kena buat mission impossible membalut leftover nasi goreng dalam daun pisang and surat khabar!

Kalau cantik, I akan ambik gambar. Kalau I tak tayang gambar nasi goreng balut daun pisang esok, you all paham2 aje lah ye Open-mouthed smile.
