This is what happened to our dinner when I accidentally left the dish in the oven a bit too long
I baked it at noon so I don’t have to rush home from the meeting after school to cook dinner.
The first bake was fine, I don’t think I overcooked it that time.
After baking it for the required amount of time, I took it out of the oven and left it sitting to cool down.
But then, when it was nearly dinner time, I put it back in the oven at a low temperature and sort of forgot about it.
Sebab I was busy doing other things, hehehe.
Cubalah teka what’s the main dish four our dinner tonite?
hehehehehe….
The taste was still the same cuma texture dia lah was a bit too mushy…..
So, bila dah too mushy, rupa dia pun lari langsung lah dari rupa asal.
(It didn’t get burnt or hangus or geseng sebab I covered the top with alfoil.)
Tak boleh dia nak berdiri tegak dengan gagah dan jayanya, hahahahaha….
Even Miss 13 was asking, “what’s this?”
When I said, “It’s lasagna.” She said, “Really?”
Nampak benor hodoh habis lasagna I malam ni, hahahaha.
The pasta sheets weren’t al dente anymore, they were molle instead .
Senang sikit nak makan kan, tinggal kunyah a few times dah boleh telan. Tak payah kunyah lama2, hahahaha.
Apart from that mushy lasagna, I also made cheesy toasts as croutons to go with the salad.
At least I didn’t burn them or overcooked them so they tasted mighty fine, hehehe.

Kalau hangus mmg x boleh diselamatkan lagi. Mmg lari langsung bentuk dia. I pun x sangka Itu lasagna.

seronoknya jadi suri rumah pandai masak mcm2. saya dulu mmg fail bab masak, sekarang ni alhamdulillah boleh sediakan complete meal within 1 hour from scratch. berkat tak ada kedai tomyam kat depan rumah kan :). tapi lusa dh nak balik msia for good, harap2 tak hilang la skill memasak saya sbb husband saya dh hafal jadual pasar malam.
Bila baca tajuk terus terbayang roti rentung.
Sebab I jer yang biasa buat roti rentung kot.
Still look delish la... janji tk cirit birit makan then it's ok... kalau I lg suka yg ada hangus2 sikit...;)
at least mudah di kunyah...x perlu tenaga berlebihan ;-)

the lasagna becums baby food lah kak. lepas ni mewahlah sikit hidup, kot- kot ada kekawan yang cabut gigi tak boleh makan solid food buat lasagna style ni. kasi lembut sikit lagi. hahaha masuk mulut terus hilang masuk tekak
x pa kak.rupa tak penting,janji rasanya sedap.hehehe.tertanya jugak tadi, benda apa la tu.bila ckp lasagna, baru ketahuan.hehe
Kak LG, kalau saya bedal jer..heheh..tak pe kak LG, rupa lasagna tu dah dicover oleh salad yang yummy dan segar itu..
hahahaha...dlu penah buat mushy lasagna...hehe...last2 kna mkn from the casserole itself...hahahaha...sharing is caring...

how I buat lasagnea jarang nak al dente.. even i pakai instant sheets pun part atas tu mesti crunchy a.k.a keras.. any tips pakar masak? ;)
Tak pe mIn Akak masih dapat meneka itu lasagna...asal taste dia pun tetap lasagna okaylah tu...buatnya taste dia pun lari kan naya...biasalahkan mak2 ni kan selalu sibuk buat kerja sambil2!!

Biasalah kan kita, masak something pastu tinggal pergi buat kerja lain. Tu yg slalu hangus or terlebih masak, hehehe

Masa I nak potong the lasagna, memang tak boleh potong sebab sgt liuk lentuk, kena lah scoop out masuk pinggan, hahaha

Good luck ye dgn cita2 nak terus memasak bila balik Msia nanti :-). But I rasa I pun sure nya akan jadi mcm your hubby jugak for the first few weeks, hafal jadual pasar malam, hehehe. Tapi lepas tu dah boring sbb bnyk yg tak kena dgn tekak dari kena, so kenalah mula masak balik :-).

hahaha...itu lagi teruk eh, terus makan dr dlm casserole :-). I pun semalam, kena guna senduk nak keluarkan the lasagna :-D

Part yg atas tu kena cover properly so dia tak dry up. Kalau you cover the casserole dish dgn aluminium foil, dia akan stay soft and not crunchy. But towards the end of the cooking, you take the alfoil off to bakar the top sikit so rupa dia brown cantik.
