A sneak preview….

We finally got to celebrate Eid Mubarak today, hehehe.

It was good in a way because The Other Half could take a day off hari ni so we could go around jalan2 rumah orang and received some visitors as well.

(I had been so busy for the past couple of days that memang tak sempat2 nak pergi ambik all the kad rayas, tak sempat2 nak balas all the comments and even tak sempat nak suruh The Little Misses nyanyi lagu raya. It is a bit sad sebab for the past few years ada aje video lagu raya from us but tahun ni takde. Takpe, raya ada sebulan lagi so sempatlah I nak ajar Miss 7 nyanyi lagi raya 4U2C, muahahaha.)

Let me tayang some of the food I made for our Raya feast.

Theme tahun ni ‘Jawa food’ sebab saje je I nak masak something different this year. So, jenuhlah I menelepon Mak I tanya resipi and tanya macam mana nak masak segala benda tu. Terkejut lah Mak I sebab tetiba anak dia ni nak masak makanan jawa, hehehe. Terus lah dia cakap, kalau lah rumah I ni dekat dengan rumah dia, memang dia akan suruh I masak banyak sikit and then boleh swap lauk pauk dengan dia Smile. I cakap kat dia, kalau rumah I kat Msia, takdelah I nak masak all these food, hahaha,

Masih takde mood lagi, hehehe

Hari ni sure busy giler all the Muslims kat Msia kan sebab esok dah nak raya.

Kat Perth ni pulak, ada yang akan raya hari Selasa and ada yang akan raya hari Rabu. Sape yang ikut masjid started puasa hari Isnin, akan raya hari Selasa and sape yang started puasa hari Selasa, will only Raya hari Rabu. Since I and family only started puasa hari Selasa, so obviously lah yang we all tak boleh raya hari esok kan, kenalah raya hari Rabu.

(I am feeling a bit sedih sebab masjid yang we all nak pergi pagi raya tu akan celebrate raya on Tuesday so terpaksalah we all batalkan niat nak pergi ke masjid tu Sad smile. Tu yang terus takde mood langsung nak update blog.)

Sedara mara I kat Msia dah meriah melantak lontong, rendang, ayam masak merah, kuah kacang and masak lodeh, we all still puasa lagi and baru terhegeh2 nak masak lauk pauk raya, hikhikhik….

Mintak mahap lah I nak berskype dengan diaorang esok, hahahaha….

Some people akan berbuka dengan lauk pauk raya malam ni while I pulak masih tak tau nak masak apa untuk berbuka, heeeee….

Takpe…I take it as a blessing sebab dapatlah I an extra day untuk kemas rumah, sapu habuk and sental periuk belanga kan, hikhikhik…

(balang biskut pun tak beli lagi ni so adalah I an extra day nak gi cari balang yang cantik utk letak biskut kan!).

Since I masih takde feeling raya lagi, I tayang ajelah apa yang we all makan 2 nights ago and the dessert I made last night ye.

(Kad2 raya cyber from all my blogger friends pun I tak sempat nak pergi ambik lagi ni. Takpe, raya sebulan so InsyaAllah sempat lah I nak gantung all the cards kat blog ni kan Smile).

For the past few nights, I memang cuba nak kosong kan the freezer and fridge. Tu yang makan lebih2an mee, leftovers ayam bakar, leftover mashed potatoes, sausage breads I found in the freezer, chips, frozen karipap and tuna burger which I also found in the freezer. Memang banyak jenis benda we all makan tapi seketul2 aje, hehehe.

Tu yang last night, I made dessert sebab kesian kat budak2 and bapak budak takde ‘new’ food for iftar.

I made choc caramel slice using this recipe. But I guna milk chocolate on top instead of dark choc and I kurangkan sikit the condensed milk itu. I buat 1 tray and last night we all makan separuh tray! So sweet but so heavenly sedap!

Belum datang mood nak Raya…

A few days lagi nak Raya, orang lain ramai yang dah sibuk nyanyi lagu ‘balik kampung’ by arwah Sudirman.

I pulak masih lagi tak siap kemas2 rumah and masih lagi tak fikir nak masak menu apa untuk raya nanti, hikhikhik…

Apasal tak siap2 lagi kemas rumah?

Entah lah, hari2 pun kemas tapi hari2 pun bersepah and dusty balik! Naik malas dah I nak kemas, hehehe.

Nasib baik lah tak perlu cat rumah, tukar langsir baru, sarung cushions baru kan!

Tapi kuih raya I dah siap 8 jenis, tak nak kalah you! Muahahahaha.

Hari ni we all akan bertungkus lumus kemas the outdoor area so cantik lah sikit nanti kalau orang datang and nak duduk2 kat luar tu kan. And I pun kena selongkar the vacuum bags nak cari baju raya. Jangan tanya we all baju raya tema kaler apa tahun ni ye sebab we all memang tak pernah ada tema kaler. We all pakai aje apa2 baju yang still muat or yang tak besar sangat.

Dah lah The Other Half ni bukan jenis yang suka pakai baju melayu pulak nya, hehehe.

So, kiranya kat rumah I ni, mood raya masih belum datang lagi lah walaupun dah hari2 dengar lagu raya and dah buat banyak jenis kuih raya and dah jalan2 kat blog orang lain yang semua kata nak balik kampung for raya….

(thus, tu yang tengah ‘lemah’ sikit nak update blog and nak jawab komen kat blog ni. I will jawab the comments but tunggu dule ye…)

For iftar last night, we had roast chicken, mashed potato with gravy and salad.

I seronok betul sekarang ni sebab tak payah masak kuih muih for Iftar. Lepas berbuka dengan seteguk air and kurma, we all terus makan main meals.

Main meals takde leftovers and everyone kenyang just by eating dinner.

Lepas habis dinner, pandai2 lah diaorang cari dessert sendiri, hehehe.

Thank you En. Google ;-)

I made 2 other biskut raya, both permintaan The Little Misses and Bapak The Little Misses.

(Biskut raya permintaan Mak The Little Misses of course lah yang pertama I buat, hahaha).

One of my friends gave us some really nice home made biscotti masa dia khatam quran a month ago. Dia bagi 1 pack, I tak rasa langsung walau pun sekeping sebab it was totally demolished by The Little Misses in just a few hours.

Kalau you all tengok diaorang makan, memang macam tak pernah makan biscotti lah, hehehe.

Then masa I tengah sibuk2 buat biskut hari tu, they asked if I could make the same kind of biscotti as my friend’s instead of the usual  ones that I’ve made before.

My friend’s biscotti ni were the really thin, wafer-like version that’s crispy and so easy to eat (macam makan keropok lah kiranya). Yang I selalu buat were the thicker versions which you have to dunk in coffee before lembut and senang nak makan without breaking your teeth, hehehe.

I know she uses just egg whites to make her biscotti while mine used whole eggs. And she told me the secret of cutting it thinly is by using reall sharp serrated knife and putting the cooked loaf in the fridge overnight.

So, for the past few days, jenuhlah I menggoogle cari recipe almond biscotti yang guna egg white semata2, yang kena simpan dalam fridge and yang guna serrated knife to cut, hehehe.

(you may ask kenapa I tak tanya kawan I ni aje on how to make it. Entah lah, I rasa segan nak tanya sebab she’s selling the biscotti as her business so I do not want her to feel awkward and ‘terpaksa’ bagi I her secret recipe. I rasa she will give it to me kalau I tanya. But saje je I nak cuba cari sendiri Smile)

And I managed to make it, yeay…. (walaupun tak se smooth my friend’s which might be because of the sharpness of her knife and the not so sharpness of mine, but rasa dia kenalah dengan tekak we all. Miss 12 has given her stamp of approval so ok lah tu kan, hehehe.).

I used the almond biscotti recipe from here. But if you google almond bread/biscotti, you will find a few different versions so kalau you all ada lebih2 egg whites and nak cuba buat, just use whichever version yang you all berkenan di hati.

And I also made chewy anzac biscuits. So now ni, biskut I dah bertambah dua tapi dah berkurang satu (sebab cornflakes meringue sudah habis!).

They like the chewy version than the crisper version of the anzac biscuits. I guna recipe ini untuk buat anzac biscuits. If you want them crispier, just bake them for a few minutes longer.

Isn’t it amazing what you can google for nowadays!

Mac n cheese as a Raya dish?

Last night we had macaroni cheese for buka puasa/dinner.

Sebab The Other Half kata dah laaaaaamaaaaaa sangat dia tak makan macaroni cheese.

I tanya lah dia, “macaroni cheese yang ada macam2 benda dalam tu ke?

Dia jawab, “Tak…yang simple sangat2, takde benda dalam tu just macaroni and cheese.

I cakap lah ke dia, “that one so blurgh and tasteless lah.”

Dia jawab pulak, “Not the way you make it Smile.”

(Ini semua setelah di alih bahasa ye! Jangan harapo lah ye dia nak cakap in Malay, hehehe).

So I pun buatlah macaroni cheese untuk teman tersayang, muahahaha.

Tapi like he said, my macaroni cheese ada campur a few things yang buat dia tak bland untuk tekak I ni.

I campur sauteed sliced leek, wholegrain mustard, powdered chicken stock, white pepper and black pepper to this basic recipe. Tapi I tak letak lah the bacon and the green onion. And then I letak sliced bocconcini on top of the breadcrumb sebelum masukkan dalam oven.

Makan dengan crumbed beef schnitzel (peninggalan dinner last week rasanya) and green salad.

Miss 7 makan berpinggan2 sebab Mum dia kan dah berjanji tak buat kuih untuk Iftar, tu yang memang kelaparan betul and makan dinner semata2, hahaha.

Even Miss 12 pun makan tambah, which was an amazing thing to see, heeee…

Mum and Dad dia jangan dia tanya lah, memang gerenti makan bertambah! Smile with tongue out.

The Other Half kata, “why not we have mac n cheese on Hari Raya for the guests?

Hmmmmmmm…….. No nasi impit, no rendang, no kuah lodeh, no ayam masak kicap???????

Resipi kuih gunting

Inilah resipi kuih gunting Mak saya yang dia dah buat since I was a very young girl. Tapi rasanya dia dah stop buat sekarang and I pulak lah yang take over Winking smile.

Bahan bahan:

  • 1kg tepung gandum
  • 150g udang kering
  • 3 biji bawang merah (which I ganti dengan 50g ready-made bawang goreng)
  • 2 sudu teh garam
  • 3 sudu besar rempah kari
  • 150g margarine (dicairkan)
  • 1 cawan air

Cara cara membuatnya:

  • Bawang merah di racik halus dan digoreng sehingga layu.
  • Udang kering dikisar halus (I kisar bawang goreng ready-made bersama2 dgn udang kering ni so tak lah besar sangat nanti).
  • Campurkan udang kering, bawang merah, tepung gandum, garam, serbuk kari dalam mangkuk yang besar. Mix until well combined.
  • Tuang kan hot melted margarine ke dalam adunan tepung tadi dan kacau lagi hingga well mixed.
  • Masukkan air sedikit2 hingga dapat uli macam menguli doh karipap, tak melekat kat jari2.
  • (Kalau sesiapa yang ada breadmaker, bolehlah masukkan semua dlm pan tu and tekan button ‘pasta’.)
  • Set aside doh ni to rest for about 30 minutes.
  • Sesiapa yang ada pasta maker, bolehlah guna pasta maker ni untuk canai the dough senipis yang kita suka and potong ikut shape yang kita nak. (I guna setting ‘fettucine’ untuk potong2 dia.)
  • Kalau takde pasta maker, just canai dia senipis yg boleh (kalau tebal sangat nanti tak rapuh and tak masak bila di goreng) and then cut it into jalur2 and then gunting panjang mana yang kita nak.
  • Goreng dalam minyak yang panas macam menggoreng keropok tu.
  • Bila dah golden brown, bolehlah angkat and tos kan.

What happens when hari2 dengar Suria FM?

1.Hari2 dengar the same songs over and over again (especially the songs yang tengah in sekarang ni).

-Especially lagu Aishiteru by that Indon band tu. I dengan malu malunya admit that it is such a catchy song! Even Miss 7 pun cakap, “It is a nice song even if I dont understand what the words mean.”

-And since I told them what aishiteru means, The Little Misses have been using the word playfully.

Miss 7, “aishiteru Mum. aishiteru Sis.”

With Miss 12 answering back jokingly, “ Ai don’t shiteru you.”

Miss 7 pun jawab balik, “Ai so not shiteru you either.

Hancussssss bahasa tu, muahahahaha.

2. Dapat dengar balik all the old songs that I used to croon masa I muda2 belia dulu (ye lah, kan tagline Suria FM playing songs from the 90s and latest).

-menggamit kenangan lama betul lah! semua lagu jiwang2 Lefthanded lah, Search and Wings lah…Haru betul bila tetiba I ikut sama nyanyi, hahaha..

3. Got seduced by the advert!

- Disebabkan tiap2 setengah jam asik dengar iklan mee sedappppp on Suria FM, I terpaksa buat instant mee goreng for my dinner malam tadi (while everyone else had chicken burger and chips!), hikhikhikhik…..

Ish…ish…ish….instant noodles for dinner Smile with tongue out. That’s why I letak banyak2 greens on my plate so I dont feel guilty eating it, hahaha.

Edisi kuih raya

Last nite, after another day of recycled dinner, I made an announcement to everyone that starting from tonite I will not be making any more kuih muih for Iftar. We will instead go straight to dinner.

The Other Half said he doesn’t mind not having any kuih. And he also said that it will free my time more to do other chores like making biskut raya and spring cleaning the house before Raya.

(Ciss, nampak gayanya kenalah I start spring cleaning rumah ni sorang2, hehehe).

The Little Misses pun don’t mind not having kuih muih, as long as they can have desserts after dinner.

Senang sikit kerja I sekarang, tak payah fikir nak masak kuih muih apa. Just fikir nak masak dinner apa aje.

After a day of disasters on Saturday tu, semalam I tak buat anything too adventurous. I cuma buat kuih gunting and choc chip cookies aje which turned out good Smile.

So far, I dah buat tart nenas (yang pucat lesi rupanya sbb I terlupa nak sapu kuning telur), biskut dahlia (yang takde rupa langsung macam biskut dahlia), cornflakes meringue(yang dah tinggal separuh aje sebab dah dibantai makan dek the girls setiap buka and and setiap sahur), choc chips (pun yang dah tinggal 3/4) and kuih gunting (yang dikawal ketat and dirationed oleh I so tak habis sebelum Raya!).

Tart nenas I guna recipe Kak Nor (tapi I kurangkan sangat2 tepungnya sebab cuaca kat sini lain dr Msia so kena kurangkan tepung utk dia jadi lembut berderai), biskut dahlia I guna recipe Cik Mat, cornflakes meringue I guna recipe yang I dah letak dulu, choc chips I guna recipe ini and kuih gunting I guna recipe my Mak yang I dah bega2 sikit, hehehe (nanti ye I letak recipe).

I pun nak tayang kuih raya jugak walaupun rupa tak semenggah, hahaha.

A day of disasters….

I told you that I’m not that good a cook…

I had one of those ‘everything was a disaster’ day yesterday.

I started the day feeling so enthusiastic to start making a lot of things. I had already a list of things I was gonna make in my mind.

(Kalah list orang berjualan kat pasar ramadhan! hehehehe).

Where should I start with the disaster ye? 'Winking smile

First I made kuih kasui which for me is such a challenging kuih to make.

I used recipe kasui Cik Mat which everyone yang buat kata sedap and menjadi so obviously lah I pun surenya akan boleh buat.

(Recipe Cik Mat memang akan sentiasa menjadi, trust me!)

That’s where everything started going wrong…

I takde air abu so I tak guna and I pandai2 aje letak kapur kasut (limestone paste) that I diluted into air kapur and I used tapioca starch which I think is the same as tepung ubi kan.

And then I pun kukus lah…. Selepas 2 jam mengukus, still banyak lagi liquid on top of the kasui (even though I dah balut lid kukusan itu dengan towel).

Pastu, I tak larat nak tunggu dah, I matikan api and then terus sambung project menge’mop’ air kat atas kasui tu. Punyalah banyak paper towel I guna untuk mengemop the liquid on top (1 pokok agaknya I guna, hikhikhik…).

(Cik Mat buat cantik aje, I buat memang hodoh giler, hahaha).

There must be something I did wrong but tak sempat nak kaji selidik semalam…

Oh yeah, at the same time the kasui was steaming, I tried my hand at making kuih ros/ kuih goyang.

That was another disaster!

First, the batter wouldn’t stick onto the acuan tembaga. Pastu, bila dah stuck to it, tak nak tanggal pulaknya! Jenuhlah I buat macam2!

I’ve followed all the rules and the right steps nak buat kuih ros but still tak jadi.

Lepas 4-5 kali try celup and goreng, I gave up and threw the batter down the sink!

(Nasib baik lah I cuma buat 1/4 adunan aje, hehehe).

The third disaster came in the form of brownies…

I melted chocolate and butter straight onto the stovetop (which I’ve done a few times before and it melted perfectly).

But this time, I sort of terlupa about it and left it unchecked on the stove top.

Tiba2, I terbau benda burnt!

Muahahahahaha…my choc+butter mixture was partly burnt!

Undeterred and unnerved, I tried to salvage it and still added all the other ingredients into it sebab I had to make something for buka puasa.

The verdict by The Little Misses, “It tastes ok Mum but with just a slight taste of burnt bits.”

Hahahahaha…..

Actually, ada 2 other minor disasters after that but I better not list them down sebab nanti orang ingat I ni memang a walking disaster in the kitchen pulaknya, hikhikhikhik….

The Other Half said, “Poor you…Do you want to go out for dinner?

I said to him, “Nope! I’m going to persevere and prove to you guys that I will win today by hook or by crook!

I spent a lot of time in the kitchen semalam but there’s nothing to show Sad smile

Somehow, at Iftar and dinner time, I still managed to serve kasui (yang telah dimop but still very edible and sedap), choc brownies (with burnt bits), chicken and ricotta puff parcels (the only ones that turned out really good because they were shop bought, muahahaha) and pizza (which nearly didn’t rise).

And this was how I felt like last night after a day of kitchen disaster.

Weekend for making more kuih raya ;-)

Thank you to Nur Cahaya, Haniey and Lurpak for suggesting Sinar FM for my raya songs fix.

Memang lagi best dari ERA lah sbb tak banyak adverts sgt.

Pastu banyak lagu raya golden oldies yang memang mendatangkan nostalgia zaman kecik2 dulu.

Ada a few people tanya I tak sedihke masa Raya bila berjauhan dengan family ni.

Kalau I kata tak sedih, memang tipulah kan. Siapa tak sedih bila tak dapat beraya dengan 1 big family kan especially now The Little Misses dah ramai cousins to celebrate Raya with.

Last time we all balik masa Raya was when Miss 7 was only 3 years old so lama lah jugak tu kan tak balik beraya, hehehe.

Ini gambar we all beraya kat Msia dulu. Muda belia Miss 12 and Miss 7 masa ni, hahaha. (The Other Half masa ni still kat Perth, he only came bercuti to Msia on hari Raya ke dua.).

But, we make our own happiness.

There’s no point sedih giler2 pagi2 Raya when it is much better to have a happy face and make Raya enjoyable for the whole family especially for The Little Misses.

Kalau I sedih sedih pagi2 Raya, when The Little Misses grow up, they will always associate Hari Raya with Mum being sad so tak best lah kan macam tu.

Tu sebab I beria buat kuih raya and masak special food on pagi Raya even though most of the times, it was only us 4 yang makan the spread.

Especially kalau Raya happens to fall on working and school day, lagilah memang takde guests, hahaha.

C’est la vie….

Hari ni I nak sambung lagi buat kuih Raya, most probably kuih gunting kot.

But knowing me, nanti kuih lain yang I buat, hahaha.

Ok lah, meh tengok gamabr our dinner last night.

The Other Half requested to have nasi goreng with sambal ikan bilis so I pun buatlah.

Lagu raya and a new word I learned

Semalam first time I dengar lagu Raya this year Crying face.

Sambil buat biskut, sambil dengar ERA online.

But….out of those many songs, cuma 2 aje lagu Raya yang diaorang mainkan so tak lah sedih sangat pun, hehehe…

Most of the songs they played were ‘new’ songs by Msian singers yang I memang tak kenal langsung. New because I have never heard of them before.

And 2 of the songs had ‘aishiteru’ in their lyrics…

I was like, what????

I thought at first it was one of those special Malay slang words that pop up occasionally. But then I sort of figured out its meaning when the singers keep on saying ‘wa ai ni’, ‘i love you’, ‘aku cinta kamu’, followed by ‘aishiteru’.

(Now, if Miss 12 had taken Japanese language instead of Italian as her LOTE, then probably she would have been able to tell me what it means Winking smile).

I said to The Other Half, “I might not be able to understand what people are saying when I go back to Msia this time because everyone there is a multilinguist now except me.”

Pastu, bila I dengar lagu Melayu kat ERA, sibuklah Miss 7 tanya, “why is Mum listening to Malay songs suddenly?

Dad dia jawab, “It’s Ramadhan and your Mum likes to listen to Malay songs especially Raya songs at this time. It makes her feel like it is going to be Raya soon.

Open-mouthed smile.

Last night for iftar, I made fruit salad and murtabak mini (again!).

Fruit salad sebab I dah tak tau nak buat apa as our sweet kuih.

I added cherries, strawberries, longan, pear, gold kiwi and mandarin to the fruit salad. Makan dengan whipped cream so obviously terus jadi sangat lah sedap nya kan, hehehe.

But it was really refreshing to eat fresh fruit masa buka puasa ni actually.

And for dinner pulak, I made beef schnitzel for the everyone while I had bubur lambuk.

Bubur lambuk ni I dapat on Sunday masa kat Masjid. One of the Masjid people donated bubur lambuk to everyone. Simpan dlm fridge sikitnya lama ke, nasib baik tak basi.

Kat rumah ni memang takde sape nak makan bubur nasi so I lah yg makan sorang2 malam tadi.

To make it more moreish, I added fried egg, fried tahu, bawang goreng and fresh coriander leaves. Ingat nak letak ikan bilis goreng sekali tapi malas pulak nak goreng.

And the piece de resistance, sambal kicap! heeeeeee…..

I think sambal kicap ni will make anything and everything becomes more palatable kan, hahahaha……

The Other Half asked me what I’m having for dinner..

I said, “the bubur lambuk we got on Sunday. Do you want some?” He looked at it and said, “Urk, that’s congee. No thanks!

Told you, takde sape nak makan bubur nasi kat rumah ni Smile.

1 down, a few more to go :-)

Alhamdulillah, dapat jugak buat 1 jenis biskut raya semalam.

Hari ni cadangnya nak buat 2 jenis lagi (yang senang2 aje. Tak kuasa I nak buat yg susah2 ni, hahaha.). Ingat nak buat biskut semprit or dahlia sebab I suka biskut old-timers ni.

Bila I tanya The Other Half and Miss 7 what kind of biscuit they would like for Eid, diaorang both jawab, “Anzac biscuits please!”

Nampak noh orang Aussie nya!

Miss 12 tak minat sgt biscuits except choc chip cookies which I will also make sebab so senang nak buat.

I pulak teringin sangat2 nak buat and makan biskut mazola sebab every year masa I kecik2 dulu, Mak I akan buat biskut mazola ni because it was arwah Atuk’s favourite biscuit.

(But because of Miss 7, terpaksalah I pendam hasrat hati. I don’t think biskut mazola will be as sedap kalau I ganti guna kacang lain kan. I rasa kacang tanah tu yang buat mazola ni so so moreish!)

And I think I nak cuba buat buah redan (kuih buah rotan) tahun ni. Ini pun our yearly kuih raya masa I kecik2.

Apa lagi ye yang Mak I selalu buat dulu?

I think yang mesti ada were biskut nestum, biskut rinta, biskut mazola, buah redan, rempeyek, kerepek keladi and kerepek pisang.

But bila pergi beraya kat rumah Arwah Atuk n Nenek, segala macam biskut modern ada kat atas meja. Masa tu memang tak cukup tangan and mulut nak merasa all those fancy biscuits, hehehe.

I rasa macam sedaaaaaaaaaaaap gilers all those fancy bandar biscuits!

Ye lah, we all duduk kampung so tak peka dengan all the modern biscuits. Sedara mara I yang duduk bandar would bawak balik all these modern biscuits ke kampung, masa tu aje lah we all dapat merasa biskut Raya bandar, hahaha.

Sekarang ni pulak, I couldn’t care less about fancy cookies. I teringin nak buat biskut2 zaman dolu dolu.

Which really shows that I am getting older lah kan, hahahahaha.

Last night for Iftar, I made kuih ketayap and goreng keropok lekor.

First time I buat ketayap this Ramadhan.

And for dinner pulak, I made chicken and vegetables pie. I used this recipe but I sauteed diced red onion and the vegetables first and didn’t use creamed corn nor shallots.

The pastry was ok, I liked it, but I think would be much better if I were to use puff pastry. Lagi terasa nikmat nya kot, hehehe.

The Little Misses cuma makan the chicken fillings aje and a bit of the pastry sebab they were already too full from the croutons!
