3 more weeks to go

Dah nak end of school year ni, makin banyak program kat sekolah kan.

Miss 8 lah yang banyak programs, Miss 12 so far senyap aje, hehehe.

So far, she has lining up, Disco Night, EduDance end of year concert, choir Christmas show and SupaGolf excursion, all within 2 weeks.

(Kecik2 dah pergi school excursion main golf. I dulu cuma pergi lawat museum aje! Smile with tongue out).

Last day of school is on the 14th of December which is in 3 weeks time.

Lepas tu, the girls will be on holidays until end of January.

Lama gilerrsssss kan! hahahaha.

Dah start doa dari sekarang that all of us will survive the Summer break without anyone trying to strangle each other, heeee…..

I masak mince roll tonite but sambil masak sambil berkebun (tolong The Other Half prepare the garden bed nak tanam the berries) so our dinner ended up slightly burnt, hehehe.

(Tu lah, nak sangat jadi super woman, multitasking bagai kan dah geseng!)

Makan dengan coleslaw and roast sweet potatoes.

Ini yang paling ‘cerah’ antara yang ter’geseng’ itu.

Tapi tak lah sampai tak boleh makan langsung, still ok aje, cuma rupa lah yang kurang memuaskan. Definitely tak boleh lepas quality control, hehehe.

But I think our dinner on Sunday nite, memang lulus tests quality control.

I made fettucine alfredo-style with broccoli and beef silverside.

I sauteed diced onion, beef silverside, chilli flakes and broccoli until masak. At the same time, I masak fettucine until al dente.

Then, bila the silverside mixture and the fettucine dah masak. In a jug, mix together about a cup of cream, an egg, some grated parmesan, some salt and pepper. Whisk it until all combined. Then add the cooked fettucine into the pan yang ada ada silverside tu, then add the cream+egg mixture into the pan and a bit of the pasta water and mix them all together until the fettucine is all coated with the cream+egg mixture.

Serve immediately sebab kalau dah sejuk, nanti tak sedap.

Sangat simple nak buatnya. The longest time is waiting for the water to boil and the pasta to cook, hehehe. After sepetang berkebun on that Sunday, tu yang best masak macam ni because it didnt take me long to get dinner ready on the table Smile.

I pun jarang guna words Jawa sbb takde sape tau jawa kat sini, hahaha.

I tak tau mcm mana nak buat sendiri lah. Kat sini, ada jual uncooked corned silverside in kilos and dah siap vacuum packed. We all tinggal basuh n boil it with onion, cloves,bay leaf, sugar n vinegar. Bila dah masak, just slice it thinly freeze them.

Kalau nak jual, people tak kan beli yg hitam, hahaha.
