Finally I can make all these things ;-)

Perkara yang I’ve been waiting for for nearly a year has finally materialised.

I am so happy, yeayyyyyy…..

(No, No, No, it is not the stork, nor the double blue lines. We are not waiting for this to materialise anyway! hahahaha).

It’s this….

First time ever I beli pisang banyak ni dengan harga $1 since March 2011!!!!!

They are so so cheap now, they are around $4/kg now. (compared to when they were at $15/kg once)!!!!!

Muahahahahaha……

I know they look brown and slightly green and ugly but these are just the features I have been looking for in my bananas .

When they were at their most expensive, it was so difficult to find brown ugly bananas ni. The shops just didn’t sell them. When you could find them, they were still around $8/kg which I think still sangat lah melampau harga nya.

Now, bolehlah I buat all those things that I have been wanting to do but had to peram so long sebab pisang was so mahal.

On top of the list is of course, jemput2 pisang!

Hehehehe.

Followed closely by choc bottom banana squares.

I think everyone else dah buat this cake except me. When every blogger, left right and centre was making it, I cuma boleh meleleh air liur tengok aje, heeee….

Now, I don’t have to tengok aje, I can make it too, hah!

(Nampak sangat lah yang I ni dah kemaruk dengan pisang kan, hahaha.)

And Miss 8 pun hari2 bawak pisang pergi school sekarang ni. She is definitely making up for lost time.

Dulu cuma boleh tengok aje bila nampak pisang at the shops sebab Mum dia tak sanggup nak spend $4 for 1 biji banana. Sekarang ni, dia nak makan pisang 2-3 biji satu hari pun I tak kisah sangat, hehehe.

(Ciss, perasan kaya sekejap, hahaha.)

But, I wasn’t that kemaruk to make dinner with pisang in it '.

I made kari daging, acar malap and nasi.

Why acar malap? Sebab I didn’t have red onion nor red chilli untuk buat acar tu. So terpaksa pakai brown onion and green chilli aje so tu yang malap aje.

I know you can put pisang muda in curry and you can have banana as a side dish in a curry meal but I think The Other Half will object strongly if I tetiba letak pisang in his curry….

Mau lah kot dia merajuk 2-3 hari if I were to do that, hehehehe….
