I want to be like him ;-)

I sekarang konon2nya tengah nak mula balik berexercise.

But instead of doing it at home, alone, I nak exercise outdoors, hirup udara nyaman sambil menikmati keindahan alam ( Smile with tongue out).

Tempat yang we all rasa paling sesuai so far is the park close to our house. It’s a beautiful park sebab ada playground, bike track, walking path, a big grassy area for ball playing and a small lake/ big pond! Yang best nya, the walking path. bike track loops around the lake so easy for us to count the laps.

Everytime we all pergi that park in the evening, mesti akan terserempak dengan this one oldish asian guy doing powerwalk around the lake.

And kat sini, it’s normal for you to say hi to the fellow walkers or cyclists.

So, hari tu I pun tanya lah dia berapa lap dia dah buat and he said 14. I was so impressed.

And we all terserempak dengan dia again semalam and petang tadi. And The Other Half tanya lah dia whether he walks every evening.

His answer…. “I walk twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. 20 laps each time and I am 64 this year.

And then bila I tanya dia tak penat ke. He said, “No.”

Mak oi!!!!! That is blooming marvellous!

And believe me, dia bukan jalan lenggang kangkung tau, dia memang betul2 power walk!

Sebab tadi he was able to catch up to me and bypassed me so fast!

And I pun bukannya jalan lenggang Mak Limah tau. I memang betul2 power walked jugak but he was so much faster than me and he’s 64!

Tension giler I dikalahkan oleh a 64 year old guy, hahahahhaha.

The Other Half reasoned by saying that the old guy has been doing it for a while now so he is fitter than me, I baru aje mula 2 hari, hehehehe.

It took me half an hour to do 10 laps of power walk around the lake.

I buat 11 laps aje, cukup lah tu kan dari tak buat langsung.

One day I nak jadi macam that old guy, buat 20 laps tanpa rasa penat, hikhikhik.

Lepas dah buat exercise, balik rumah bantai makan tak hengat nasi lemak, muahaha.

And then bukan nya nak stop kat nasi lemak aje, tambah pulak dengan dessert…

(Nasib baik I ingat dunia so makan apple pie without any ice cream nor cream, hehehe.)

Macam tak berbaloi aje buat power walk tadi tu kan bila tengok what we ate for dinner tonite.

But like The Other Half kata, “you are going to eat those things anyway whether you exercise or not. So, the exercise is a bonus!

Yo lah tu, hehehehe…

mak oi 20 laps..mmg terror habis..akak kan kalau 8 laps pun dah tercungap..itu pun walking bukan jogging..
rasa2nya kena start balik dah kan min..cewah bersemangat nak exercise..ni yg maleh bila kurus..sbb bila org kata kurus kita pun sedap je melantak sehinggakan berat badan naik lebih berat dari dulu..skang jenuh akak nak mula balik..nyonya kat mayfair tu bertalu2 telefon suh dtg..tak kosa pulak nak hiabiskan duit kesitu lagi...huhuhu

Pandai hubby U pujuk. Yeah... makan tetap makan. Tapi bila dah exercise, kira lebih baik dari orang yang hanya makan dan makan saja.

Apple Pie tu tanpa cream pun dah mengancam dah!

Makan tu memang wajib. So bila dah exercise, kira bonus la berbanding ngan orang yang makan je tanpa exercise. Caya la U buat power walk

wow!!! 64y/o. tapi memang kak kalau pg senaman pagi2 kat sini pon.yg ramainyer pakcik2 dan makcik2.kadang segan bila diaorng lg laju.yer la pegi exercise bila mood datang jer.diaorng hari2 exercise.

p.s- hye kak selama nie jd silent reader jer.nie baru ade aura nak msg akak.:) salam perkenalan.
