You know how The Other Half didn’t do well on his riding test kan and he’s ‘fed-up’ with it at the moment and has buried his dreams of owning a Ninja for the time being. But he was still looking for another alternative to go to work. Dulu dia pernah kayuh basikal to and from home pergi kerja. But he found it to be a bit too hard sebab ada 3 bukit dia kena cycled up untuk sampai ke tempat kerja tu. After daki the first bukit, he was still smiling but bila nak naik the second bukit tu, dia dah tercungap2 and kaki dia dah rasa macam nak explode, hehehe. So, tu yang dia terus tak larat nak cycle to work even though he enjoyed it so much.
Hari tu, lepas dia sat for his motorbike test and was very upset, bini dia yang baik hati ni pun tanyalah ke dia, “why don’t you look at getting a motorised bicycle? It will definitely help you with going up the hills! It’s legal here in WA.” Terus tang2 tu gak dia teruja and said to me, “Hey! what a brilliant idea!”
And tadi, guess what we did after Sunday school? We went to Freo and he bought a motorised bike. Actually he’s already got a bike and dia boleh convert his bike into a motorised one tapi bila dia nak pergi ronda2 dengan we all, tak best lah kalau nak kena bawak the motor and the battery along just nak cycle around the block. So, tu yang dia beli a specialised bike tadi yang datang dgn motor and battery pack sekali.
This is his new motorised bike! Kalau nak bandingkan dengan Ninja, memang lah jauh beza kan, macam lemon dengan limau purutlah. Takde can lah I nak bergaya pakai leather jacket and leather pants and boots macamni :-(. Tak kuasa I nak membonceng naik basikal dengan dia (walaupun ada tempat untuk I duduk membonceng kat belakang tu :-))! Muahahahaha.
Teringat I kat all the motorised bikes kat Pulau Ketam when I was there dulu2. Berani betul diaorang bawak basikal ni jalan atas all their plank lanes, I yang tengok rasa seriau, hahahaha.
Tapi ada banyak jugak pro dia beli basikal instead of Ninja ni. First, jimat duit weh beli basikal dari beli Ninja (harga basikal ni cuma 1/5th aje dari harga Ninja). Second, dia tak payah bayar road tax and motorbike insurance (jimat lagi duit kan :-)). Third, dia dapat lah exercise hari2 and hopefully dapatlah balik his six-pack, muahahaha (I told him to still kayuh the basikal even though dah ada motor on the bike).
Sungguh lah tak sabarnya The Other Half nak pergi kerja esok pagi sebab nak try test cuba his new toy ni :-).
I tak masak dinner malam ni, sebab tengah hari tadi dah membeli belah kat Masjid beli and makan macam2 food. For dinner tadi. I reheat aje pizza semalam, hikhikhik. But semalam I buat chocolate scones for The Little Misses. It wasn’t too bad lah. Bole buat choc scones for Easter Hols nanti instead of Hot cross buns.
