Our dinner tonite:
turkish loaf with hazelnut and almond dukkah and extra virgin olive oil.
Dukkah ni is a blend of nuts and spices which originated from the Middle East tak silap.
Bila nak makan, you dip the bread (selalunya turkish bread) into the EVOO and then dip it into the dukkah.
Untuk tekak I yang memang banyak benda boleh masuk and telan (except peria, olives, Mat Saleh’s anchovies, raw oysters, hati/livers, hehehehe), dukkah ni sangat2 lah moreish nya!
Tapi mana boleh makan the bread and olive oil and dukkah aje kan so I also masak:
Crispy oven baked chicken wings, sauteed greens in garlic and grilled corns with spice butter.
I think, all these different food, bila dah gabungkan bersama, sangat lah ngam nya (walaupun rupa tiada, hahahaha).

Subhanallah,
Tabik toing toing pd yg blh mkn hat semua ni.
Kalau Sham masih gigih mencari nasi..
That looks good. I never had Dukkah before, I don't even think Turkish restaurant here even serve that. Usually Pita bread je la. Dipping oil selalu jumpa dekat some fancy italian restaurant. Tapi still takde Dukkah tu. That's really intriguing.
And you don't like Mat Saleh's Anchovies. I'm addicted to that. Tapi my Mat Saleh spouse selalu mengada ngada tak suka; due to bau mainly, bukan dia pernah try pun.
Simple yang mengeyangkan :)
adoi.... cukupke nak masuk perut i ni. portion manja2 je tu..
masa mula2 baca tadi ingat u all makan turkish loaf with hazelnut and almond dukkah and extra virgin olive oil tu jer. terkejut terus sbb takde protein n veggie. tak seimbang ni. takkan u makan makanan x seimbang..tak mungkin...hehehehehee.....

Sham,
kat rumah ni memang nasi cuma jumpa seminggu sekali aje kot so tu yg perut dah ditrained boleh aje telan benda2 lain :-)
T,
I can't stand the smell nor the taste of the anchovies. My hubby loves it and I will occasionally buy a small jar for him and make half of our pizza with anchovies. But then bila I termakan the anchovies on my side of the pizza, I terus rasa nak termuntah. teruk kan.
You should try dukkah because it makes the bread really interesting :-)
Azmatun,
mcm makan nasi panas dgn telur goreng and kicap, simple tp sedap and mengenyang kan kan :-)
Miss Cool,
