I know that Ramadhan is just around the corner, followed by Syawal after that.
And I also know that ramai orang yang dah start surf the net mencari recipes juadah berbuka and also recipes kuih2 raya.
Agaknya sebab itu lah kot my Feedjit asik2 keluar tunjuk people coming to my blog by searching for….
“kuih gunting udang kering”…
Kalau nanti seantero dunia hidang kuih gunting udang kering as juadah hari raya, janganlah salahkan I ye!
Wahkahkahkahkahkahkah . Mari ramai2 muntah hijau, hehehehe.
Hari tu my gang kat sini and I borak2 lah pasal kuih hari raya.
Ada lah a few people kat sini yang dah ambik order biskut raya.
And we were talking on how some of my friends ordered kuih raya from some people and ended up takde sape nak makan the kuih raya sebab tak berapa sedap, hehehe.
So, we were discussing on how we should each just do 1 type of biskut/kuih raya yang memang each one terer buat but buat dalam jumlah yang banyak and then do a kuih raya swap!
Senang banget lah nanti hidup kan because by just doing 1-2 kuih raya, our tables will be full of kuih raya pelbagai jenis on hari raya day, hehehe.
Walaupun duduk kat perantauan, our kuih raya still ikut style kuih raya Msia/S’pore.
Bakal jadi bahan gelak kalau menghidang Tim Tams, Oreos, Shapes, Nice, jam Fancies di pagi raya, hehehehe…
But since orang rumah ni ada pelbagai citarasa, kenalah I buat biscuits ala2 Mat saleh jugak like meringues, florentines and butternut snaps.
Baru lah fair and square kan .
Like malam ni, sebab dah dua tiga malam makan asian-style dinners, malam ni kena lah makan something western.
Nasib baik tekak Mat Saleh kat rumah ni cuma nak makan burger and chips aje instead of chicken kiev or lasagna so dengan senang hati I turutkan…
We had burger, chips and bean salad.
Sejak dari hari Khamis, I have been having eating fests tiap2 hari so rasa macam perut ni penuh sentiasa.
Khamis sbb my party, then ada khatam tadarus and tahlil function on Friday, then semalam melantak sushi, hari ni pulak makan burger and fries sampai penuh perut.
Luckily lah bulan puasa dah nak menjelma, lega rasa hati, hehehe….

biskut semekut i tak pernah rajin buat biarpon macam choc chips yg spoon2 je tu.. esp kalo yg kena roll & terap2 tu... gunting2 lagi la.. tapi i boleh makan sebalang sorang kot... eh, i order dgn u la kot.. kita tukar kuih raya.. tapi i beli je la.. hehehe...
shalin pun mkan mcm nak rak few days ni. U ada celebration takpe. yg i ni takde celebration pape tapi makan mak ai mcm ari raya plak. kuih raya no worries. 2 jenis pon cukup, rumah i takde org dtg raya
