P for princess, P for pirate, P for pyramid but what did they choose? Punk rocker and Panda!
The Little Misses have a school dance this Friday nite and they are supposed to come as something starting with P. Punk rocker, I can do. Senang aje nak kit Miss 11 up in a punk rocker gear. I’ve already got her a black t-shirt with ‘rock chick’ on it and a faded denim skirt to be worn with torn leggings. Pastu mekap sikit2, jadi lah punk rocker kan 
But Miss 7 wants to go as panda. At first, she wanted to go as papparazzi. We told her that papparazzi just dressed in jeans and t-shirt with a big camera around their neck. Nothing spectacular about them. Tu yang dia terus tukar nak go as panda tu.
Hah, padan muka Mummy dia kena buat costume panda! Hehehehe…
Macam mana I nak buat budak yang pakai baju pink tu serupa macam statues yang black and white tu?
Alahai anak, most of the other girls will be dressed as princesses, but you wouldn’t be caught dead in a princess costume. You would rather come as a panda than a princess, hahaha.
Do you know how difficult it was nak cari a white and a black hooded sweat shirts? I went to so many second hand stores tadi nak cari materials to make a simple panda ‘suit’ but memang tak jumpa.
I’m not going to spend so much money buying or renting something that she’s only going to wear once so tu yang I cari material nak jahit sendiri (konon konon nya, hehehe).
Takpe, 4 more days to look around….

Anak you minat animals ke? Sama ngan Hana. Princess semua tak layan. What abt pediatrician or plumber. Kalau pediatrician, you boleh beli stethoscope ke apa. Plumber boleh pakai overall n bawak wrench. Kalau panda, kena lah you paint muka dia dan buat costume je.

for panda, you can buat telinga with headband attached dengan puffy material atau kertas hitam. Then mostly make-up. Since kakak dia nak jadi punk rocker, dua-dua boleh buat smokey eyes, tapi panda punya smokey boleh exaggerate biar besar sikit. Fo baju, pakai baju longsleeve hitam, top it with sleeveless/short sleeve putih. Also pakai glove hitam & seluar hitam. Bagus tak I punya idea, nampak sangat I suka Halloween & dressing up. Most of the time, make up can bring out the character without having to waste money on costume. You boleh search youtube for makeup idea. I bet they have a lot.
on other noter, i bet miss 11 will look good as punk roker. play around with hair mousse and smokey eyes ;-)

for ms 7: pakaikan hooded t-shirt warna putih with balck jacket and black pants/ legging..you just need to get the mickey mouse ear or you make the ear..
for ms 11:jangan lupa rambut ala ala cindy lauper...

Tadi I pergi Spotlight tengok costume diaorang but takde panda. But the full monkey costume was $40 for kids. Tak sanggup I nak keluar duit banyak tu just for 1 use!

Thanks for the idea. I did search the net and found a few good ideas on making panda suit hence the hooded sweatshirts :-).
I have to buy kohl eye liner to make their eyes up and also white face paint for the panda! hehehe.
I normally asked them to go to dress up parties as something that I know I can create but panda is a bit too much for me kot :-).
