Wonderful Wednesday dinner

The Other Half said, “Wow, that’s a lot of birthday wishes you got there.”

I just smiled smugly, hehehehe Winking smile.

Thank you once again to everyone for the doas and wishes.

Sejak I mula berblogging, the birthday wishes and doas I got every year have steadily increased which is awesome (epic!) sebab mestilah kita suka bila orang doakan yang baik2 untuk kita kan Open-mouthed smile. Manalah tau, setiap satu doa tu dimakbulkan, tak ke best! hehehe….

And since birthday I dah habis, our dinner malam ni went back to just 1 main course, tukang masak tak kuasa nak masak lebih2. Takde entree nor dessert (well, ada dessert leftovers from semalam, hahaha).

I made moroccan spiced lemon chicken with green salad, makan dengan french bread.

Jangan terpedaya, I didn’t make all these from scratch, hahaha.

I used ready-made moroccan lemon spice paste, beli kat kedai. I cuma tinggal brown the chicken pieces, and then I tambah a bit of diced onion and diced celery and canned chickpeas to bulk it up. Pastu simmer on the stove top sampai masak.

French bread tu pun beli kat kedai. Cuma salad tu lah I petik kat belakang rumah (but tomato and the feta still beli kat kedai Open-mouthed smile).

First time I guna this paste and the taste was really delicious! Especially when you have the crusty bread to mop up the gravy.

(Sape yang tinggal kat OZ, the paste is Passage to Morocco :Moroccan spiced lemon chicken simmer sauce. So far I’ve tried their Passage to India sauces and they are all really nice. Diaorang ada jugak Passage to Malaysia sauces tapi takpe lah, I beli aje Pakcik Brahim or Pakcik Adabi nya sauces aje, hehehe.)

The Little Misses pun makan dengan senyapnya takde komplen apa2…

Kira cukup lah rempah ratus nya and kena lah dengan tekak we all ni.

Cik Siti Wan Kuncup,

Pendragon,
I pun kdg2 takut jugak nak try pastes ni cos ada a few yg dah try but not nice. But bila jumpa yg sedap, memang I akan slalu beli, senang hidup I, hehehe.

Maya,
My life is so easy with these ready made pastes :-). More time to spend elsewhere ;-).
Thanks for the wish ye!

Memang sedap kan! Tp my hubby x berapa minat lemon tu. Ada satu lg Passage to Morocco, Beef pepper something-tak berapa ingt the name although baru guna yesterday.

Nmpk sgt 'rajin' sgt asyik guna paste je kan? huhu..

Beli atau buat sendiri, jika kena rentak rempah dan hias masa hidang, tetap menyelerakan!

Maziah,
I suka sgt2 guna paste ni and suka try tapi banyak jugak yg tak berapa berkenan kat tekak, hehehe. Tapi kan, memang senang bila ada paste ni, tak payah susah payah fikir nak guna rempah mcm2 :-)

Danial,
Patak's vindaloo is really yum as well. My pantry is filled with all kind of pastes sebab I ni memang slalu malas, hahaha. But it does make cookign so much easier :-).

Nadia,
thank you :-)

Relaxnhappy,
Macam orang johor makan sup tulang dgn french bread lah kan :-). I ni jarang makan stew with bread tapi sekali sekala makan, memang tak nak berhenti, hehehe

Haniza,
thank you for the wish, Terlambat pun takpe, it's the thought that counts kan :-D

Shasha,
hehehe...I rasa diaorang semua tengah kelaparan, tu kot takde komplen :-P

June,
Hahaha...You ingat I ni terer sgt masak ke. Bila tang tgh malas, kat sini banyak pastes yg sedap2 yg boleh 'tolong' I masak, hehehe.

Kak Azie,
Memang betul tu. Ada jugak pastes yg tak kena kat tekak we all tapi terpaksalah telan jugak sbb dah masak. Tapi lepas tu, memang tak beli lagi lah, hehehe

Syahira,
Macam mana nak jawab thank you in that language ye? :-D

Maz,
Kat Coles and Woolies both ada jual paste ni. Yang duck tu, ada yg dah siap marinated and roasted and tinggal reheat dlm microwave aje. Ada dia jual raw and you kena bake dlm oven dulu. I beli kat Coles the duck dlm vacuum packet.

Aidah,
I cuma brown the chicken aje, pastu tuang the paste and then let it simmer atas stove. Masa dia tgh masak, I duk lepak, hahaha.

Ayu,
Tak kuasa I nak masak benda2 yg bnyk bahan2 nya I takde. Tu yg I suka guna paste, senang kerja I tak payah susah payah cari recipe, hahaha....

Ibunurin,
thank you ye for the wish and sudi baca blog I ni :-)

Mamasuri,
thansk for the wish. Kalau we all makan teatime berat2 mcm ni, memang tak makan dinner lah lepas tu, hehehe

It's about I, you and we,
Salam. Thanks for the wish and the doa :-)

Amirah,
I pun suka kacang kuda tu. I slalu beli yg dlm tin, pastu makan macam tu aje, hehehe.

TTM,
Bila you nak berkenalan dgn orang2 kerja kilang tu, pastu boleh lah dpt discount bnyk2 and bolehlah I ngendeng lepas tu, hahahaha...

Putu,
Kalau tgh puasa jgn masuk blog I, kurang pahala puasa ;-). hehehe...

Ayu,
Kalau all in 1 pot cooking, kira menu malas lah tu :-P

Unaizah,
bukan tak cukup quorum, tak cukup food for the 'party', hehehhe. Thanks for the wish ye :-)
