It felt like Sunday.

Thank you everyone who thinks that Miss 8’s hairdo is funky and suits her face yang bolat itu.

I didn’t do such an awful job lah kan.

Bolehlah I bukak salon macam ni kan (next to the restaurant and the kedai jahit and the vege stall.)

Muahahahaha…..

Miss 8 loves her short hairstyle which is what matters most.

Malam tadi, every few minutes dia tengok cermin and betulkan the clips she put on her hair.

We all cuma boleh senyum aje lah, hehehe.

Sibuk dia memunggah her hair accessories box to look for nice clips to wear but she didn’t have that many. Esok I kena belikan her some more lah kan so she can look more girly.

(Jimat duit Mak Pak dia about $20+ sebab tak payah hantar dia gi salon untuk potong rambut, dasar kedekut, hehehe).

Which means she’ll be happy to go to school esok showing off her new hair do to her friends.

As long as tak kena gelak dengan kawan2 dia, I am happy Open-mouthed smile.

I wonder how long it will take for her hair to grow back to shoulder level this time.

Today was a public holiday here in OZ to commemorate Anzac Day (wich is like Hari Pahlawan in Msia).

We didn’t do much except relaxing at home tending the garden and going to the park.

We finally harvested our first snake beans or yard beans or kacang panjang.

I cuma tanam 4 pokok kacang panjang aje and tadi baru dapat 6 biji saje.

Cukuplah untuk sekali goreng kan.

Our beans pun dah berbuah so for the next few weeks we’ll be eating kacang panjang and beans aje lah, hehehe

I love this habanero plant, so cantik to look at.

So, tadi for dinner I made kacang panjang goreng telur, kangkung goreng belacan and honey chicken.

Kacang panjang, cili and kangkung from kebun.

Dah lama we all tak makan this style of dishes.

Selalunya balik2 masak lauk kari aje!

Esok tugas I sebagai supir and makcik kantin akan bermula semula…

mmg menjimatkan kalau potong rambut sendiri. Galak sungguh berbuah habanero plant tu ye! Sekali sekala sedap mkn nasi lauk & sayur mcm tu. selamat kembali bertugas bu supir & makcik kantin!!

Assalam Min....hahaha...samalah profession kita tu...and the salon tu....yap that's Akak as well..for my little princess....one more secret..I use to cut the boys & my hubby's hair jugak suatu ketika dulu...I didn't realized since when they started going to the barber...maybe sejak we all pindah ke Penang kot!!Too much for me to handle agaknya...Wah...Min tak pedas ke guna habanero pepper tu? Love the dinner menu!

cili habanero tu akak msk pe selalu.. pds sgt ke agak2nyer cili tu yek kak...

zafirah pun x penah lagi merasa potong rambut kat kedai. Her hair is really straight, so senang nak potong. Since she wear tudung to school, so no issue of kena gelak sbb ibu potong senget!

we all ni kan, either balik Msia baru potong rambut or potong rambut sendiri, jimat habis, hahaha.
I suka makan lauk pauk yg mcm ni, tp hubby kureng sikit. asik2 kari aje :-)

Wassalam. Kak Watie ada provide massage kepala mcm barbers buat tak? hehehe. I ni seriau sikit nak potong rambut orang ni. Potong rambut sendiri takpe sbb pakai tudung, hehehe.

Shahlin,
I goreng chiken breast tu in batter mcm buat goreng pisang tu. Pastu I pour this 'kuah' made up of water, honey, golden syrup, a pinch of salt and a bit of lemon juice. Pastu tabur sesame seeds on it.

Salam. Kalau kat kedai, adalah kot $7-8 agaknya sbb banyak weh portion honey chicken tu :-D.

Memang I bengang dgn dia semalam sbb bila I tanya nak dinner apa, dia terus jawab, "dah lama tak makan nasi and kari." Cisss, mcm takde benda lain yg boleh makan dgn nasi!!!! hahaha

Dana,
tu yg hubby bersusah payah cari duit banyak2 so makcik supir, makcik kantin, makcik kebun, amoi salon rambut suka hati buat kerja, hikhikhikh ;-).
I tak pernah masak the habaneros tu, I slalu bagi orang aje, hehehe.

Lily,
nasib baik Zafirah tak nak rambut ala2 Princess Ariel kan, kalau tak, terpaksalah Ibu dia bawak gi salon, hehehe.
