The fruit bowl

Sape kata badan I takde lemak you, adaaaaaa…… baaaanyaaaakkkkk….

And yang tak bestnya, all the lemaks berkumpul kat tempat yang I tak nak! hehehe

I want to blame pengumpulan lemak ni on M’sia!

Last year, my weight was ok aje sampai lah I balik Msia twice tu.

Walaupun I tak dapat melantak all my favourite food on the list but I managed to eat a lot of the food that I did eat, hakhakhak.

Especially the second time around in December tu.

Since I balik M’sia sorang masa tu, I got to eat what I wanted to eat instead of what the girls wanted to eat and the best part was…

I got to eat all the food with peanuts in them sebab Miss 8 wasn’t there to get any allergic reaction from it.

Seronok weh!!!!!

Bayangkan lah, I asked my Sis to berhenti sekejap at this row of gerai by the road side at Keramat AU4 so I could buy my favourite apam balik nipis.

Setiap kali I balik Msia with Miss 8, I had to telan air liur everytime I lalu depan gerai jual apam balik nipis. Perasaan meronta2 nak beli tapi bila ingatkan Miss 8’s allergy, ku pendamkan hasrat itu.

So, tu yang when I got the chance to buy apam balik in December, I beli sampai 5 keping which I polished off straight away all 5 in the car! Buruk lantak habis kan Open-mouthed smile.

Takde kuasa nak tunggu2 sampai rumah baru nak makan, muahahahaha….

And then, when my Abah passed away, we had a lot of kenduri tahlil.

Kenduri tahlil orang Jawa ni a bit extravagant I rasa, the food provided macam kenduri sambut menantu kdg2, hehehe.

Every nite, ada main meal which was nasi lemak lah, nasi ambeng a few nights, mee goreng, bubur manis2 and so many different types of kuih on top of the main meals.

Kuih2 ni mostly adik beradik Mak and arwah Abah yang donated.

So, you bayang kan lah, dengan nasi ambeng nya lagi, dengan berjenis2 kuih muih yang sedap2 lagi yang I bantai sampai senak perut.

Macam mana lah lemak2 tu tak berkumpul balik kat my pinggul and my peha!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn’t even fit into my old jeans anymore tau sebab peha I tak boleh nafas bila dipaksa masuk into those jeans.

(actually can masuk but I yang tak boleh nafas tengok, hahahahaha).

So, bila I dah kena beli jeans baru to accomodate my new peha size, I know I have to lose back the weight.

But, bukannya banyak mana pun I nak kurang kan, my BMI is still normal but I would rather it be on the lower end of normal than the higher end of normal kan. So maximum 3kg aje I want to lose, dapat lose 2kg pun I’m happy already Smile.

So, tu yang rumah I sekarang ni penuh dengan benda ni….

The green coloured fruit that looks like pears tu are actually a type of plum. I do not know what it taste like, I bought it because it’s cute, hehehe.

Segala macam buah I beli to fill up this fruit bowl. And ada a few more fruits that are in the chiller. Instead of snacking junk food (which I love so much), I kenalah makan buah2an….

Jadi, The Little Misses and Daddy The Little Misses pun sangat lah suka hati bila I told them that I will make them fruit salad for school and work everyday.

Miss 12 said she only wanted rockmelon and grapes. Miss 8 pulak wanted only oranges cut up (but I buat pura2 tak dengar and filled hers up with banana and nectarine as well, hehehe).

The Other Half pulak kata, “semua kasi taruk eh!”, heeeee……

So, I pun kasi taruk semua, oranges, nectarine, grapes, rockmelon, banana and lychee in his fruit salad.

fuuuhh... macam dalam poster je buah2 tu.. gerraammmm nya i tengok...

kadang2 i ingat diet etc, tapi bila semua depan mata, macam kena pukau hilang semua pon dah.. melantak bagai nak rak.. enjoy gila... ahaks..

LG, i faham perasaan you..i blk tgk my dad for just 3 days i gained 2kg..cannot resist lah food yg kita jumpa only bila blk kg..x mkn rugi ohhh..kang kempunan..hahaha

LG..malaysian n foods..bagai irama dan lagu..kalau dipisah lemah tiada berjiwa...hampa...tapi kalau x dipisah..tembun u..hahaha..sedapnyer seme fruits tuh.... :))

mrs LG. yang bawah the plum hijau tu, is that achacha? jumpe jugak kat sini haritu terus beli due biji nak rasa. tapi tak pandaaai makan. macammane nak makan that fruit? buah oz ni macam2 la kaann~ unik!

but serious u habiskan all 5 apam balik nipis tu? Alaaa bukan ada lemak sgt pun apam balik tu, x kenyang pun kan heheh

u kena bersyukur byk2 LG, u nak kena kurangkan 2-3kg jer, i ader 13kg lagi nak kasik buang, now yg tinggal is all those fat yg dah bersarang 30++ years in my body, klu ada treadmill mcm u kan best!

But im happy after all the suffering (nengok org makan n masakkan org makan), at least i dah turun 8kg in 3 weeks, alhamdulillah syukur sgt2 :)

i ada 6 biji lagi grape fruit in my kitchen, i sgt2 x pandai makan buah ni LG, so i buat jus aje, everytime i put into salad i rasa pahit, why yer? any recipes u care to share with me sis, please :)

Kak Min.... bestnye fruit salad.... my bekal ari ni, 3 biji limau mandarin & homemade mashed potato... Ermmmm.... kite x pernah lagi buat pisang dlm fruit salad... Pisang tu nanti x lebam ke erk? Nampak mcm best.... nanti nak try la buat....

Size badan kak Zai dah lama bersize xl,entah2 xxl kot hehehe...dah malas nak berdiet.Tapi kak Zai memang suka makan buah tu sebab buah sentiasa ada dalam fridge.

Tak apa KMin, bila ada peluang makan.. Makan sepenuh hati. Lagipun Kmin rajin n teror bab2 nak turun balik..(as much as most of us terror bab naik)

But fruit is good lah.. Actually kenyang pun kenyangkan? Cuma.... Tidak lah MM makan sgt. Hahaha.. Serious membazir kalau beli.. tapi if u give me durian kak.. I will taram sampai habis :D

Owh.. I once pegi kenduri tahlil org jawa and yes... the food.. Boleh kenyang 2 hr 2 malam :D

wah...I like your fruit bowl. Semua jenis buah muat. wow. Right now, I only eat one type of fruit, tangerines and adik-beradik. It's so cold here, eventhough ada jual summer fruits, rasa macam tak welcoming jer.

kalau nak naik tu, memang lah senang sbb senang hati bila makan segala jenis food kan. Bila nak turun susah sbb kita tgh susah hati tengok nombor kat penimbang, hahaha...

hahaha...you lagi teruk, 3 hari naik 2kg :-). Tapi memang betul kan, kalau kita tak makan masa tu, sure nya akan kempunan. So ut yg melantak sampai berpinggan2 :-).

Kalau kat sini, everytime I nak makan msian food, I kena masak sendiri. Kalau kat Msia, berlambak2 everywhere tu yg memang tak boleh tahan godaan betul :-)

Masa tahun lepas, I kurus habis, I bought new jeans yg slim line sikit. So, bila dah naik berat badan skrg, memang tak boleh nak sarung lah, hehehe

oh bukan, itu cuma nectarine aje. I tak pernah jumpa buah achacha tu kat WA sbb so far belum sampai WA lagi. Tak silap cuma kat Queensland and NSW aje baru masuk :-)

ada diet baru ke skrg ni? I beli buah bnyk2 ni to stop me snacking on junk food. Kdg2 berjaya, kdg2 terbabas jugak makan junk food, hahaha

Serious you, I habiskan 5 keping apam balik nipis dlm kereta in 1 go. Punyalah tamak haloba giler kan! My kakak just geleng kepala aje tengok perangai I, hahaha.
Tahniah sbb berjaya kurangkan 8kg dah, not that far to go ye :-).
I tak suka langsung grapefruit. Yang makan kat rumah ni cuma my hubby aje. But dia cuma makan ruby grapefruit yg isi dia kaler merah. Yg ini tak sepahit yg normal grapefruit tu. Dia slalu nya makan separuh dgn tabur gula merah atas grapefruit tu and just korek and makan.

pisang tu akan lebam sikit aje tp kena guna pisang yg tak ripe sgt lah. Tapi memang sedap canpur pisang montel dlm fruit salad, sgt lah mengenyangkan :-)

Saya ni pendek so memang tak sesuai langsung berbadan saiz XL ni, hehehe. So tu yg kena maintain aje saiz S :-)

tu yg everytime I balik Msia, memang segalanya I taram and bantai. Sebab I know, bila lagi kan nak merasa, hehehe.
I pun boleh makan durian sampai habis jugak, first yg duduk makan and the last to leave, hahaha.

During Winter here pun I cuma makan apples, oranges, pears and that's it. So tak menarik betul kan :-).
It's supposed to be a salad bowl but I will never make that much salad ever so tu yg tukar jadi fruit bowl :-)
