From this to that

The Other Half has started his landscaping project in the front garden.

Gigih dia bekerja tengah hari tadi for 4 hours under the hot sun!

While I pulak gigih bekerja in the kitchen still doing all the Xmas tidbits to be given away and for The Other Half’s Xmas work do, hehehe.

But masih banyak lagi yang we all kena buat in the front garden tu.

We only managed to put some laying stones under the fence and along the rose garden beds and also moving the pots of citrus plants into the front garden.

We are thinking of putting a stone garden bed filled with riverstone pebbles around the citrus pot so nampak posh cantik sikit kan .

So, tengah mencari kat mana nak dapat riverstones yang murah2 in bulk, hehehe..

But definitely tak boleh siap before christmas lah kot so memang kena sambung buat landscape lepas Xmas lah kan so maybe kenalah postpone angan2 nak pergi the Boxing day sale lah kan!

Anyhow……..

Tadi I pergi jenguk the zucchini plants.

Last weekend, The Other Half pergi sembur the plants with poison for all the bugs so seminggu we all tak boleh nak petik any vege or fruit.

Tu yang pagi tadi bila tengok the zucchinis,

Omak I! Semua dah jadi raksaksa gorgon!

Ech one besar lengan The Other Half! And his lengan is not small mind you!

So, I converted half of one of them into…

Chocolate zucchini cake .

can you see the green flecks in the chocolate cake? They are grated zucchinis, hehehehe.

I asked the girls to eat them and they love the taste until I told them that I put zucchini in it, terus Miss 13 mengada2 kata, “Eeuw, zucchini in choc cake? Now, you’ve ruined it.”

Eleh! Masa belum tau, laju aje ekau tolan, takdo eeuw eeuw bagai!

And then we searched for some more ripe blueberries…

Which Miss 9 used in her muesli breakfast. Some are small and some are really big. Some sempat dimakan bersama muesli while others terus masuk mulut after kena petik, hehehe.

She said, “Wow, I’ve got 11 blueberries in my muesli. Cool!”
