Even though he did not dust nor vacuum the house while we were away, I am so extremely glad and thankful that he did the washing, the folding, the bed sheets changing, the dishes, taking out the rubbish and the gardening .
My goodness, he certainly did a lot of gardening! (which made me so happy, hehehe).
This 2 photos were taken a few days before we left for M’sia.
See how the grass is so straggly and has invaded every nook and cranny in the garden…
And this was what he did in 1 day when he was trying to fill up his weekend from getting too lonely without us around.
He reclaimed the rose garden beds!
He dug out all the grass that have grown rampantly and put pine bark mulch on the ground and planted a plastic edging around the rose bed so it will slow the growth of the grass. Nampaklah cantik and kemas sikit our front garden sekarang.
The proud guy with his handywork, hehehe.
Memang kerja berat giler yang dia buat hari tu. He said he had to stop every 10 minutes sebab amatlah siksanya nak dig out the grass that’s grown out of control. He had to dig really deep sebab the grass roots grown quite deep and really strong. Tu yang siksa and susah giler nak mencabutnya. Dah lah cuma guna garden fork aje to do all those hard work.
And ini pulak rupa our vege garden sekarang. I took a photo of the garden when we first planted the seedlings in this entry, 4 weeks later, dah besar diaorang.
The sugar snap peas and the silverbeets look happy.
The tomatoes have gone haywire, growing in every direction. I baru aje terfikir nak cantas all the side shoots so the tomato plants will only grom upwards. Ingatnya, lepas balik dr Msia lah baru nak buat, tak sangka pulak yang in 2 weeks I was away, the tomato plants grew so much!
Sampai dah tak nampak the capsicum plants yang I tanam in between them!
