Sunday at the Naturescape

I ended up making a new batch of muffins pagi tadi sebab kesian nak bagi orang makan flat cuppies, hehehe.

The flat cuppies will be stored away in the freezer until I know what to do with it.

Raya Haji tak lama lagi, I might magic them into cake truffles utnuk hidang kat guests, heeee…

After Sunday school tadi, we went to King’s Park to the newly opened playground for the girls to run around and for us to have a picnic lunch.

(konon2 picnic lunch but picnic rug and plates tak bawak so we had to sit on a log and just makan macam tu aje. I bought burger at the masjid so takde plates pun ok aje tadi nak makan.)

This playground is called Rio Tinto Naturescape playground. It’s basically for kids to learn to play with nature (macam kita masa kecik2 dulu lah). They have tree houses, places where you can build tepees from branches, rope climbing area, nature walk, wetland area and a man-made creek and billabong where the kids can paddle, build ‘dams’, play with the mud and generally get themselves wet.

Punyalah ramai kids tadi…

But we are quite lucky here in a way sebab we can let the girls run loose and insyaAllah nothing will happen to them. Tak payah susah nak follow them around everywhere (except all the mamarazzis and paparazzis yang follow the kids sebab nak ambik gambar aje lah Smile).

So, layanlah ye a lot of photos that I took there.

What is it with kids and climbing?

Selagi benda tu boleh dipanjat, they will try to panjat it. Kalau benda tu tak boleh dipanjat pun, diaorang tetap akan cuba nak panjat kan!

At the billabong (which is the OZ word for pond), trying to build a dam and searching for pebbles.

And finally, gambar The Little Misses with the Mum (yang sekarang ni dah chubby sedikit, hehehe. Takpe, once the guest dah balik, barulah boleh start exercising and control makan balik kan Smile with tongue out).

(Tiba2 I rasa kulit I secerah kulit anak2 I pulak nya Surprised smile. I think this photo is overexposed tu yg cerah semacam aje, hahahaha.)

Hi, I've been reading your blog daily. Love the way you prepare your meals! I have recently started baking. Masih tengah belajar la tak pandai lagi. Was wondering, when you said that you're gonna put the flat cuppies you made into the freezer and figure out what to do with them later, what can be done with them? I've recently made some flat cuppies myself (not the first time lol!) and I really don't know what to do with them. Nak buang, sayang la pulak. Nak bagi kat orang, malu la. Please help! Thank you. :)

Min,
thanks for reading my blog. Everyone starts cooking from tak pandai to pandai:-). Normally I will convert my flat or leftover cakes into cake balls/ cake truffles. I will crumble the cake, then add a bit of orange juice, add some plump up currants, and add some melted chocolate.
mix them all together, making sure that it's moist enough for you to shape them into small balls. Then you can put them in the fridge and eat it like that or coat them with another layer of melted choc.
Lebih kurang mcm cake pops lah.

Eja,
wehehehe....malu I ada orang puji ;-)

Honey Bee,
thanks ye sbb sudi baca my blog ni. Kings Park sekarang dah makin cantik sebab diaorang dah banyak buat renovation untuk cantikkan lagi all the taman kat situ :-)
