Belum seminggu lagi balik from M'sia so dinner malam ni still kena western style. Malam tadi dah teringin nak makan roast chicken so balik fr work tadi keluarkan ayam dr fridge and cut it 'butterfliy' style pastu lumurkan butter mixture ni around the ayam and under the skin and then baked it until masak. Butter mixture I pakai campak2 aje. In a bowl I mixed soft butter, chopped onions, garlic, ginger, daun limau purut dicincang halus, garam, honey, tomato sauce and kecap manis. Gaul sampai sebati then lumurkan kat ayam. Pastu bila dah masuk dlm oven, boleh lepak2 sambil tengok tv, senang kan masak western ni :-). The taste was really nice and quite complex sebab ada rasa manis sikit, masin, gingery and a hint of daun limau purut yang harum. The little misses sikit pun tak komplen and Miss 4 1/2 siap makan 2 wings and 1 peha lagi tu. Either she was really hungry or the taste kena lah dgn tekak dia :-).

wohooo spring chicken lagi tu... cantik jer angle snap gambar. kebetulan memang rasa terliur jer dua tiga hari ni nak makan roasted chicken... fahmi pun dah sibuk2 suh mama msk ayam panggang. agaknya entry u ni umpama kasi seru kat i suh msk roasted chicken.
