lamb kebab for dinner

I bought some lamb mince a few days ago.

Selalunya I only buy beef mince because it’s a bit less fatty.

But bila tengok the lamb mince at the butcher, nampak macam sedap sangat pulak nya so terus lah beli sekilo.

Beli aje dulu, but I had no idea what to do with it, hehehe.

After browsing the net (mana lagi kan, even though buku recipe penuh satu almari but they are just collecting dusts at the moment, hahaha)..

Speaking of buku recipes, The Other Half wanted to throw away my Super Food Ideas magazines which I have been subscribing to since 2002 or 2003.

Berapa tahun punya magazines dia nak buang!

So I said, “NO WAY! Do not touch that magazines unless you want to put them in a big plastic container to be stowed nicely in the shed.”

He said, “I’m not going to store them, I’m just going to throw them away.”

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Kalau you sayang kan I, you takkan buang harta benda kesayangan I tau…sob sob…

Hikhikhikhikhik….

Anyway, after surfing, I found this recipe for homestyle doner kebab/yiros using lamb mince.

It is so easy to make and took such a short time to cook as well.

My favourite kind of dish, heeeee….

And it tasted really good as well which is a big bonus lah kan.

The Other Half said, “ I can taste the lamb, it’s really tasty.

I cakap, “I really hope you can taste the lamb since it was lamb mince that I used Smile“.

And we had the yiros with sliced tomatoes, slice brown onion and lettuce.

And not forgetting the most important sauce to go with yiros/kebab, yoghurt garlic sauce.

I had mine with sweet chilli sauce as well which I think makes it nicer.

Sedapnya dgn sayur bagai...akak season dgn apa ek lamb tu? Next week cuti panjang, tgh kumpul menu sebab sure en. Hubby suruh masak punya :)

Awak patut cakap...... "I got the recipee for tonight's lamb kebab from the magazine that you wanted to throw away". Baru fikir 5 kali sebelum buang magazine tu.

sama lah.. buku resipi plus cooking mags ada some ratus kot.. hehehe.. sbb my hubby ada collection diving/cycling mags, so dia takleh kacau i punya la.. nak bising2 oso cannot one lah..

ohhh my lamb kebab... berair mata i tengok....

Waalaikumsalam. Kesiannya you :-(. I kalau kat Msia pun jarang makan kambing, either ayam or ikan aje. But lamb kat sini memang sedap lah.

You click kat link tu, dia ada recipe dia. I cuma gantikan serbuk cinnamon/kayu manis tu dgn paprika aje. Simple sangat nak buat dia.
