A ring on his finger

The Other Half dah terbang ke Darwin pagi tadi.

He’ll only be back on Wednesday evening.

So, kiranya ada 3 malam lah I nak masak anything I want untuk penuhi segala yang I mengidam.

But seperti biasa, angan2 aje lebih…

Sebab gerenti nya I akan malas nak masak beria2 sebab I sorang aje yang nak makan apa yang I teringin tu, hehehehe…

Like tonite’s dinner, we all makan leftovers kari from the other day aje.

The girls makan roti canai instant dengan kurma while I makan nasi dengan beef vindaloo.

tsk…tsk…tsk…..

Punyalah pemalas Smile.

But esok I might buat yong tau foo sebab dah lama tak makan.

But if I buat yong tau foo, I still have to cook something else for the girls since diaorang memang tak makan yong tau foo ni.

Tu yang I’d rather masak apa yang diaorang gerenti makan aje instead of apa yang I teringin.

Kalau I kat Msia, memang hari2 lah I akan singgah gerai or restoran or pasar malam when The Other Half’s away.

The girls can eat what they like and I can eat what I like!

Heaven macam tu kan!

Semalam, we all pergi city cari barang The Other Half.

When he was involved in that accident 2+ months ago, they had to cut off his wedding ring to fix his dislocated ring finger.

And then his finger was in a cast and swollen for a very long time so he couldn’t get a new ring.

Kiranya 2+ months lah dia perasan ‘single’ sebab takde wedding ring on his finger, hehehe.

Until semalam, he went and bought a new ring.

Lega I sekarang, everyone can see clearly that he’s already married….

So takdelah sape2 yang menggatal nak cuba2 tackle dia….

hahahahaha…. Smile with tongue out.

And since takde gambar dinner tonite, I ganti dengan gamabr garden aje lah ye.

I finally saw our first cucumber for this season tadi.

And the grapes are also getting bigger.

IMG_2320

But not sure bila boleh dipetik. I guess once I see the birds start to eat them, dah masak lah kot kan.

I wish dah boleh makan masa Xmas nanti but most probably not kot…..

And the green capsicums.

IMG_2321

I think this is the green variety sebab dah besar pun masih hijau lagi….

That’s why I like Spring and Summer sebab bila I malas nak masak dinner, i can always put photos of the growing vegetables in the garden on the blog, hehehe….

My better half refuses to wear his wedding ring when we move to Msia, reason #1 he lost a lot of weight (apparently msian food does not appeal to him - aiyoo) reason #2 he doesnt see anybody else wearing it (beside those rings with huge stones mcm nak tumbuk org tuh) i think he felt embarrased bcos his ring is the typical wedding band with a teeny weeny diamond.. Nak compare dgn batu permata besar2 tu? Baikla dia xpakai... Hihihihi....

Adda,
I pun terliur everytime tengok the grapes tapi kena tunggu a few months lagi baru boleh makan :-)

Anash,
nasib baik can be both kan. The harvest from the tangan sejuk can be used in the kitchen by the tangan panas, hehehe

kak Kasih,
skrg tak silap dah ramai guys yg pakai wedding rings kat msia nun sbb dah ikut style western kan :-). tapi kdg2 ada ring pun boleh gak berlakon single, hahaha.

micasamawar,
kat sini memang orang akan tengok the ring finger dulu sebelum cuba2 nak tackle, hehehe.

Sue,
tunggu dulu, nanti dah makin bnyk berbuah, baru boleh letak gambar lagi :-)

Cik Mat,
terima kasih! dengan buat muka tersipu2 malu, wahkahkahkah....

blu4sky,
I pun pernah accident a few times masa naik basikal masa kecik2 dulu, nasib baik tak arwah you! :-)

Sham,
waalaikumsalam. parut tu yg menjadikan kita unique, hehehe. I pun pernah jatuh basikal siap berparut kat lutut lagi.

Nina,
tu lah kan, tak sabar nak tunggu diaorang besar and boleh makan cili, hehehe.

Dana,
berangan itu penting, hahaha. tapi malas tu yg slalu hinggap bila nak masak2 ni, terus lah terpaksa angan2 itu berkubur, hehehe.
Slalunya mmng married men kat sini ada wedding band/ring kat jari manis kiri so senang sikit nak tau dah kahwin ke belum :-)

Aida,
kat sini, senang lah jugak nak tau klu dah kahwin ke belum tp kalau yg nak menggatal tu, diaorang akan tanggalkan their wedding ring masuk poket! Hampeh punya perangai!

Kak Zai,
hehehe...pengantin baru yg lama ;-)

Pendragon,
masa2 mcm ni lah yg buat I miss Msia sgt2. kalau malas nak masak, tinggal pergi mana2 kedai makan. Kat sini, kalau malas masak, I buat scrambled eggs and toasts aje or maggi, hehehe

Nani,
lerr...end up you tak makan yong tau foo lah ye, hehehe. takpe, sate pun sedap jugak kan. I pun jemput my friend dtg rumah makan yong tau foo dgn I and siap tapaukan utk dia lagi, so tak lah membazir :-).

Azlina,
Salam. My hubby kata I ni kdg2 jeles but slalunya tak, hehehe. Actually ada ring ke takde ring ke, kalau orang tu nak menggatal, dia still akan buat jugak kan. Kiranya the ring ni utk bagitau ke orang lain yg dia dah kahwin, hehehe.

Mulan,
I sebab dah duduk sini, tu yg kena try gak buat kuah yong tau foo ni tp I rasa memang tak se kick yg jual kat pasar malam tu, hehehe. Bila I balik Msia, gerenti I akan makan!

Messy Mummy,
I takut kalau dah lama2 sgt dia tak pakai the ring, nanti dah terbiasa pulak. Susah lah I nanti, hahaha. Nasib baik he wants to get a new one cepat2 (sebab dia takut I pulak yg tetiba nak take off mine), hahaha.

Silver fern,
Memang kat Msia, a lot of people wear the huge stone rings kan, hehehe. he shouldn't be embarrased because his wedding band is subtle yet more expensive, heeee....
