It’s all green

Hari ni takde public holiday kat OZ ni ye, unlike kat M’sia yang tengah bercuti sakan sebab hari ni cuti and hari Khamis cuti lagi.

The only religious public holidays kat OZ ni are the Good Friday long weekend (which includes Easter Monday after the weekend) and Christmas and Boxing Day which is the day after Christmas.

So, memang beruntung lah orang kat Msia sebab banyak gilers religious holidays in a year, hehehe….

So, kenalah prepare lunch boxes pagi tadi since tak cuti kan.

I asked the girls last night if they wanted to take karipap for lunch to school today and both agreed.

Pagi tadi I pun goreng lah frozen karipap from my magic freezer, heeee….

I sekali buat karipap akan buat around 800g tepung and about 1kg+ potatoes macam tu so dapat banyak sgt2, tu yang boleh buat stock bulan2 Smile.

Tak kuasa I nak buat sikit2, buat penat mengelim aje!

Ini lunch box Miss 13.

Selalunya kalau dia bawak karipap, dia akan kena serbu dengan kawan2 dia sebab Mat Saleh suka sangat2 karipap.

So, tu yang dia kena bawak extra karipap so she’ll have 4-5 and give the rest to her friends.

And Miss 13 pun bawak fruits and snack for recess.

It was a hot day today so I bekalkan diaorang juicy watermelons.

And for dinner tonite, I made beef enchiladas again.

Ye lah kan, bila dah dapat recipe yang sedap, obviously lah I akan buat lagi and lagi, hehehe…

But this time I letak zucchini in the filling (sebab zucchinis berlambak kat kebun tu).

The girls both cakap, “our dinner is very green tonite. Green wrap, green guacamole and green zucchini in the filling.”

Green is a good colour what!

rajin kak LG buat karipap. dah lama x mkn karipap sbb sendiri malas nak uli tepung and buat inti, plus kena kelim tepi lg huhu... btw, kalo kat plymouth/cornwall ni, omputih x pelik sgt dgn karipap kita, sbb diorg ada cornish pasty, yg rupa dia seakan2 karipap tp inti steak. tp saya hanya bole komen the vegetarian punya version la, cheese and onion. lain2 x halal huhu

LG...karipap memang disukai ramai kat rumah ni. jadi kaau buat sekilo tu utk berapa kali makan jer sebab sekali ngap berapa biji. Dah tgk entry you ni, terus rasa nak menguli karipap lagi

dana kalu bt mmg selalu dkt2 1kg maklum kt umah tu ada 5org yg nk mkn,lbh baru simpan utk frozen kn...

The two girls bawak fruits in their lunch boxes. By the time diorang makan, the fruits tak tukar warna ke? Or you tips to prevent that from happening?

I tak pernah half bake, just kelim, susun cantik2 dlm ziplock bags, pastu susun dlm freezer. Probably can last 3 months kot. I tak tau sbb mine tak pernah lasts that long, hehehe.
But my Mak half bake dulu for about 10 mins at 100C tak silap before dia simpan dlm freezer terus. Dia kata lag cantik. Nanti I tanya dia how to do it that way ye.

my girls suka karipap for their lunches, tu yg I 'rajin' buat so bila I buntu idea, tinggal goreng karipap pagi2, hehehe.
Irish people pun pandai kelim kan, hahaha.

dah baik batuk? I suka minum lemon+honey+hot water kalau batuk, nyaman aje kat tekak :-)

sedapnya semua buah2an tu. I suka sgt2 durian, rambutan and manggis! :-). Kalau dpt mengadap, memang tak toleh dah, hehehe.
I tak perasan lah pernah tempek recipe karipap ke belum.

hikhikhik....Mat Saleh ni anggap karipap ni exotic food yg sedap tapi diaorang tak tau buat. sbb diaorang tak pandai buat kulit karipap style kita. Tu yg kalau ada karipap, diaorang akan serbu :-D.

The fruits tukar warna jugak but the girls kata, the taste are still ok. Tu yg I slalunya lebih suka bagi whole fruit tp bila ada mcm2 fruit, kena jugak buat fruit salad, hehehe
