It’s sausage night again

Another go to meat that i will use at least once a week are sausages.

We are quite lucky sebab kat Perth ni banyak halal butchers yang jual pelbagai jenis sausages with so many different flavours.

Ada yang sedap and ada yang tak sedap.

Ada butchers yang jual sausages yang penuh dengan lemak and bulking agent instead of meat so bila masak the sausages, penuh lah keluar lemak2 and air .

Ada pulak yang tak letak lemak sgt sampai bila masak the sausages, they tend to be a bit on the dry side (or maybe sebab I terovercooked, hehehe).

I tak pernah cuba buat sausages sendiri sebab you have to have to casings to make sausages and I tak tau kat mana nak beli halal casings ni.

Padahal I ada attachments nak buat sausages ni that came with the Kenwood mixer.

Tapi I tak berani nak tanya the butchers if they were willing to sell me some of the casings, hehehehe.

So, yang paling senang is to buy the ready made sausages with so many different flavours kat kedai aje lah kan.

I selalu beli plain BBQ or herb and garlic sausages for the girls.

While for The Other Half and I pulak, we all suka the chilli sausages.

Tapi bila nak masak the sausages, I kena masak the girls’ sausages dulu baru masak sausages we all in the same pan.

Sebab takut kalau masak sama2, terpedas pulak their sausages and terus teguk bergelen2 air pulaknya kan!

 

So, malam ni for dinner, I masak sausages again.

Makan dengan roast potatoes+sweet potatoes and an altered version of pepperonata which is that mixed veges dish.

I lagi suka roast sweet potatoes dari potatoes biasa sebab it’s sweet kan.

Pepperonata ni is an Italian dish I think of onion, garlic, mixed capsicum and tomatoes cooked in stock, vinegar and brown sugar.

Tapi I tambah zucchini and mushrooms and I tak letak fresh tomatoes, I tukar dengan sundried tomatoes.

Lagi lah meriahnya my veges kan. Ada hijau, kuning, merah and brown.

Your food presentation dari dulu memang superb, tengok saja pun dah meleleh ayaq lioq, belum makan lagi tu, kihkih!
I kadang2 beli giant sausage yg ada cheese & mushroom inside tu. Pakai beli 1 atau 2 yg dah siap masak ja kat hypermarket. Maklumlah sorang saja nak makan :)

Masak sosage pun nampak sedap. I like hidangan simple2 mcm ni..Tapiii..kalau masak mcm ni utk hb sue kompem beso tu saiznya tak cukup..Hehehee.. Nasi jugak boleh buat dia kenyang.huhuuu

mmg sgt teringin bangun pagi terus ngap grapes hanging from the vines!! such a wonderful feeling...

bout your range of colourful clothes tu, hahaha.. i pun sama kes gak dgn u! we just need to add more colours to our life kan, esp dah masuk 4 series ni.

Salam. Grapes dah nak habis musim, still ada a few more bunches lagi but sedih sbb next month sure dah tak boleh nak petik and makan :-(.

I kena pelbagaikan sayur mayur rumah ni or else budak2 tu kdg2 kuis2 tolak tepi.
