Like I said yesterday, we had leftovers for Iftar last night.
Memang once a week kena buat leftover night during Ramadhan or else there’ll be too much waste and the fridge will be so jam-packed with containers.
Luckily no one minds having leftovers as long as the leftovers kena dengan tekak diaorang lah .
The Other Half, Miss 9 and I had rice and curry, asam pedas ikan and sotong goreng kunyit while Miss 14 had pizza last night.
See, tu yang semua orang happy!
And sebab I felt a bit weird tak masuk dapur langsung to cook anything, I ‘made’ dessert.
I just cut up some bananas, strawberries, kiwi and Arnotts arrowroot biscuits filled with marshmallow.
Then I made some chocolate ganache, put it in the fridge for a while and then whipped it until creamy.
it was easy to make but was so sedap and healthy-ish, hehehe….

Hi Kak Min,
Ramadhan Kareem for you and your beloved family.
I came about your blog couple of days ago. I read your blog archive like a story book!!! I was lacking of ideas working on homework for my summer class.
Anyway, your blog is awesome. I love your cooking and photography skills and above all your natural flow of story telling skill. and I love your garden (esp vegetable garden) too. I am also into flower photography (esp. macro flower photography), I love your roses.
I am here in Ames, Iowa, U.S far away from home.
Back home in Malaysia I didn't cook but now I have to cook since in Ames, there is one halal shop and the food prices are phenomenal. Your blog certainly inspires me to cook. Jazakillah :)

Rata-rata orang Msia (Melayu) bila berada jauh di negara orang, automatik akan masak sendiri then terus jadi pandai masak macam-macam. Kagum!

leftover pun kalau sedap, mesti licin punya...hehehe...

Zana,
Hi! Thanks for reading my blog from the earlier posts :-). That must have taken you quite a while to do.
Everyone who's never cooked before and suddenly got thrown into a new environment will definitely quickly learn how to cook to survive. And I'm sure you are already very skilled at cooking kan :-).
Kak Azie,
itulah cara kita nak survive, hahaha. Kalau tak, memang asik terliur manjang sbb kempunan nak makan makanan melayu, hehehe
