Am I doing the right thing? I’ve finished assembling 1 dress but it looks so plain and so not ‘wow’. I mean it’s not completely done yet and there’s still the satin sash to go around the waist which hopefully will make it ‘shine’ a bit more and lace for the skirt hem. Mind you, I haven’t tried it on the girls yet but it looks so lifeless on the hanger and doesn’t make me feel proud of my creation. Maybe green is the wrong colour to choose or maybe I’m just too tired to appreciate it at night time under the fluorescent light, hmmmm…. I really hope that the dress will stand out during the wedding day on the flower girls so I can be happy with something I’ve made with my own hands….. I’ll put up a photo of it once it’s fully completed. In the mean time, doa banyak2 lah ye for me so I can create beautiful dresses, hehehehe…
By the way, thank you so much for your ucapan tahniah for Miss 10. She’s really chuffed that people knew of her good news :-). I told Miss 10 yang dia and Miss 6 sekarang famous thanks to this blog, hahaha. Kalau balik Malaysia nanti and we all jalan2 kat shopping complexes kat KL tu, agaknya ada ke people yang akan pandang diaorang 2-3 kali sebab diaorang fikir macam pernah nampak and kenal aje tapi kat mana ye? Muahahaha….. Jom gelak guling2 sebab I perasan fofular :-D. But how come people from modelling agency still haven’t contacted us yet ye? We are still waiting for the chance to exploit The Little Misses so they can start earning money instead of us, wehehehehe.. No lah, just kidding! :-D. See, kalau I penat and mengantuk, entah apa2 yang I merapu kan…
Anyway, semalam we all pergi the school fete and I donated some cakes and nasi lemak. Pagi2 pukul 6.30 you I bangun (well, pagi lah for a Saturday!) sebab nak menghias cake cara paling malas and also nak masak nasi lemak. I cuma buat chocolate cakes and letak butter cream sempoi and nutella and tabur dengan hundreds n thousands and choc rice aje. Nampak sgt malas nya kan, hehehe.
At least I was quite happy sebab by the time I balik, the nasi lemak dah habis terjual and the cakes pun dah habis. Nasi lemak tu diaorang jual $4/container, mahal kan for a nasi lemak but bukan I yang set the price. I cuma donate aje. But ada lagi nasi yang lagi mahal dr tu, $8/container which I think is very dear for nasi and lauk 1 jenis. We all cuma beli baklavas, karipap and the kids beli lamingtons at the fete. Balik rumah from the fete, we all makan nasi lemak, hehehe..
Then as usual on Saturday nite, the cave man of this house aka The other Half pun keluarkan his favourite toy and started lighting the fire. I think it’s this primordial urge in every man to play with fire which makes them love BBQ so much (including The Other Half now) :-). We made BBQ chicken again sebab ini yang paling senang nak buat so far. One day we’ll make roast leg of lamb or beef on the BBQ (when I’m less busy which means probably next year kot, hehehe).
Tak se seksi last time, hehehe… We had it with roasted sweet potatoes, steamed veges and bread rolls.
Ini pulak our breakfast pagi tadi. I haven’t made pancakes for quite a while and pagi tadi I cuma dapat makan sekeping aje you sebab The Little Misses and The Other Half makan habiskan… Hmmm, nasib semua mak memang macam ni kan….
And our dinner tonite, nasi goreng and leftover roast chicken.
I’ll be busy again for the next few days so maybe takde N3 lah ye 2-3 hari ni. Jangan gusar, I’ll be back :-)….
