Another lazy weekend gone. Lazy weekend in terms of tak jalan kemana2 but still busy with other activities. Miss 9 had her soccer game early in the morning whilst I stayed at home buat doughnuts and karipap utk our morning tea lepas the others balik from soccer. Masak tetap berjalan seperti biasa tak kira lah weekend ke tak kan. Mother's day next weekend ni pun I think I still have to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner unless a miracle happens to make the other half and the little misses suddenly want to cook! :-). I can always wish......

Speaking of Mother's Day, the other half has been asking me since last week what I want the little misses to buy me for Mother's day. Selalunya over the years, I'll tell him what I want specifically and he'll take the little misses to the shop and they'll window shop for a while before he steers the little misses closer to the thing that I want and then he'll say 'Wow, look at that lovely thing. I think Mummy will definitely love it if we buy it for her for Mother's Day!'. So the little misses will buy it thinking I would be surprised. Then on Mother's Day, I'll get my present and jadi pelakon drama terbaik at the same time ;-) , hahahaha...... but everyone is happy! But this year, I still haven't found what I want and I only have until Friday to decide before they go and buy what they think I would like which I do not want them to do. Nanti karang entah apa2 lah yang diaorang beli, hehehe....

Anyway, tonite's dinner was a very simple macaroni cheese. Miss 4 1/2 and the other half wanted pasta for dinner tapi I didn't feel like having a tomatoey sauce. So, bila nak senang, macaroni cheese was the simplest. But I added pepperoni on ours and sausages on the little misses' and then sprinkled frsh breadcrumb on top and grilled it until golden brown. The breadcrumb made the macaroni cheese nicer because of the extra crunchiness.
