Esok is The Little Misses’ last day of school for this term. Miss 10’s class teacher will be leaving them for good, she’s going back balik kampung to Sabah to teach there, and one of her best friends is moving to Adelaide so Miss 10 2-3 hari ni asik monyok aje lah. So tadi after school I took them shopping to buy a farewell gift for the teacher and the best friend. Hadiah for her teacher and her friend but my money yang keluar, hehehe. But kesian Miss 10 because she really likes her teacher and she’s good at teaching as well. Tak tau lah sape yang will be teaching them next term, hopefully someone enthusiastic and good!
So, bila dah busy meronda the shops cari the right things to get for the teacher and her friend, sampai rumah dah after 5, terus lah kelam kabut masuk kitchen. And since nasib baik semua tekak Mat Saleh, we had the easiest dinner of all. I baked some potato nuggets, fried some chicken nuggets and calamari rings, grated some cheese and carrots and shredded some lettuce, and made avocado dip. Then nak lagi gempak, makan the nuggets in a wrap, perasan lah sekejap macam makan the wrap kat KFC, hehehehe…. (cuma terlupa nak toast dia aje, kalau tak, sure lagi nampak mcm real aje kan ;-)).
And now a few photos of Miss 5 and her classmates during the ‘Crocodile Beat’ play :-). Layan ajelah gambar2 ni (sape2 yang rindu nak tengok gambar Miss 5, tengok lah puas2 ye, hehehe).
She was so eager but so nervous as well to be performing, hehehe…
Look Mum, I’m a cheeky monkey and next to me is my friend the elephant and behind us are my other friends, the ducks, the elephants, the monkeys, the bears, the colourful birds, the snakes, the crocodiles and the lion.
She was so happy because she managed to use her loudest and clearest voice narrating the play tadi. Tu yang senyum sampai ke telinga tu :-).
The Little Misses’ school still takde hall lagi but hopefully this undercover area will have walls next term so tak lah sejuk gilers masa assembly bila angin bertiup kuat.
