Today the Little Misses had a 'pupil-free' day at school which means they don't have school so their Mummy mithali kenalah stay at home to look after them. But as always, mana boleh duduk diam kat rumah kan, pagi2 lagi dah angkut the Little Misses to the shop with a very big mission to complete.

What's the really big mission? Well, cerita from the start lah ye (alah, bukan panjang mana sangat pun so boleh aje teruskan baca, hehehe ;-)). The Little Misses have been going to swimming class since April I think and then since balik from Malaysia when they continued their swimming lessons, I started noticing yang Miss 5's hair mula gugur dengan banyak nya. I think it's mostly my fault sebab tak rinse off the chlorine betul2 from their hair so I guess her hair's quite damaged lah at the roots and the ends. Actually, rinse banyak kali pun lepas swimming, the chlorine smell is still there! I didn't know what to do cuma letak conditioner aje banyak2 in her hair but still it continues to come off. I yang sedih tengok when her gorgeous locks are disappearing gradually, tap tak lah sampai botak macam Daddy, ha..ha...ha...

So, I decided after agreement from Miss 5 to have her hair cut off . I told her that I don't know if her curls will still be there after the cut or it'll disappear. Sayang wei kalau potong suddenly hilang semua the curls, mana mau cari lagi mah! So, tu yg pagi2 tadi lagi bawak her to the hairdresser, kiranya first time in her life lah, hehehe. Before this I trimmed it once myself but wasn't a good trim at all. I thought of getting a really short cut ala halle berry style cut for her but even the hairdresser tak berani jamin kalau her curls will stay with that short a cut. So, finally we decided to just trim the frayed ends and cut it bob-style just above her shoulders. Mummy yang biting her nails masa Miss 5 tengah potong rambut sebab takut tetiba hilang aje the curls, hehehe.... Aparah Mummy ni!

Anyway, Alhamdullilah the curls bounced back merrily after the cut. I guess sbb rambut tu tak berat kena pulled down by gravity so the curls can bounce back lagi lah meriah nya on her head.

p/s the hairdresser told me a remedy to get rid of chlorine in the hair after swimming. She said to put a tablespoon of bicarb soda into the shampoo and mix them together into a paste. Then shampoo the hair using this paste after swimming and leave it for a minute. Then rinse it off, then shampoo again like normal followed by conditioner. Terkejut jugak I bila dengar dia kata guna bicarb soda ni. I know bicarb soda ni bnyk kegunaan nya especially in cleaning the house but tak tau pulaknya yang dia boleh buat basuh rambut, hehehe... Now I've learned something new :-).

Malam ni nak buat project sikit dengan Cik Oven and Mr. Dyson, malam tadi pun busy jugak buat project dengan Mrs. Iron and Encik Clothes-Basket. Kalau orang yang tak tau ni, sure ingat my sosial life teramatlah meriah nya setiap malam membuat project dengan all these 'friends', I only wish! I know it's time to start folding the clothes when the other half has to go through the clothes basket every morning to search for his smalls and socks and I have to go through the clothes basket to search for the Little Misses' smalls and socks too :-). But malam tadi baru ada free time sikit nak luangkan masa to do this hateful chores.

What I normally do nak kurangkan sikit rasa malas and bored tahap gaban everytime melipat kain is to put on a dvd to watch. Barulah rasa laju aje nak melipat sebab ada hidangan mata. Last nite, I watched Pirates of the Carribean - curse of the black pearl. Seronok betul tengok Orlando Bloom, he's so attractive looking! But only in Pirates of the Carribean and as Legolas in Lords of the Rings aje yang dia cun gilers. Other than that, rupa dia biasa2 aje, hehehehe...

Since malam ni tak masak cuma reheat food aje, layan aje lah gambar our dinner semalam ye :-).

Sardin and sayur goreng (punyalah jenuh nak menghabiskan kubis purple tu!) makan dengan nasi panas, memang sedap :-).

Nak tergelak betul, tak sangka pulaknya ramai yg sudi meneka gambar semalam and ramai jugak lah yg meneka dengan tepat gerangan sayur apakah itu :-). So, I kenalah cari sape yang first sekali teka tepat but not tonite lah ye sebab mata ni dah kuyu aje, hehehehe. The answer is red cabbage which is what it's called in OZ land but I know it's also called purple cabbage at other places. But dessert tu semua sipi2 aje bagi jawapan, kalau main archery, memang tak kena kat bull's eye lah :-). But nampak sedap ye the dessert? Ha..ha...ha..... Before that, to everyone, I'll jawab your chat in the chat box and your comments esok aje lah ye sebab memang betul2 penat ni :-).

Why penat, sebab dari pukul 4 tadi masak segala macam benda nak bawak ke tempat penginapan my rellies saje nak jamu diaorang sikit. What did I make? I made sempoi nya brown sugar bread rolls, jemput2 udang and jagung and chocolate cake. And on top of that, I still had to cook dinner for my family, hehehe. I think I definitely can't become a home baker/cake maker ambil tempahan sbb mcm ni aje dah rasa mengantuk sangat :-). Kalaulah hari2 kena buat berjenis2 kek, mau tak bangun I agaknya! Or terus tidur depan oven ajelah jawabnya :-).

We have rellies (OZ talk for relatives) over from M'sia today for 5 days but they are not staying with us, phew.... hehehe ;-). Went out to dinner with them tonite but biasalah kan bila sibuk2 dengan ordering food and the kids and talking, selalu sangat terlupa nak ambil gambar the food. And malu jugak nak ambil gambar the food cos they don't know anything about my blog, hehehe. Nanti tak pasal2, satu kampung tau yang I ada blog. Susah lah nak balik kampung camni kan klu femes ni, jalan kemana2 mesti nya ada orang nak suruh sign autograph, wehkehkehkehkehkeh. Kena I pakai spec hitam everytime nak keluar jalan2 :-). Tak larat betul the other half said to me tengok orang perasan lebih2 ni :P. Biasalah kan Dear, macam tak tau pulak wife dia ni terover perasan sikit ;-).

Anyway, since takde gambar food for tonite, kita main teka teki gambar aje lah mcm tu ye. This was what we had for dinner last nite. Can anyone guess what kind of food this is? Sape dapat jawab dengan tepat, I boleh bagi 50 sen buat beli sweets, hehehe..... Kalau yang guess tu mak budak then I'll bagi fridge magnet. Ok tak macam tu?

Apakah benda yang di dalam mangkuk ini?

Di makan bersama2 ini :-). Since sekarang ni night time/ maghrib around 7.40 mcm tu and our dinner time around 6-6.30 mcm tu, rasa macam bukan makan dinner pulak kadang2 tu sebab masih terang benderang lagi. Kalau kat M'sia, kiranya afternoon tea time lagi lah kan but kat rumah we all dah dinner.

Dah beberapa hari ni terlebih busy aje and also my hayfever was quite bad, tu yg penat and mengantuk sangat2 malam tadi. And memang dah sah penat sebab pagi tadi pukul 9 baru terjaga, hehehe. So, what did we do for the past few days sampai busy and tak sempat2 nak mem blogging....

On Friday, after work and after picking the Little Misses up from school, we went to watch the trial run of the Red Bull Air Race which is still going on as I'm writing this entry kat Perth city. If you want to know more about the race, just google it ye. Every year in November, the last leg of the race is held in Perth tapi we've never been to the real race so far. Tak larat lah nak bersesak2 with 2 kids in tow. Tu yg cuma tengok the trial run aje and watching it on tv, jadi lah kan :-). Sambil tu, we let the Little Misses play along the river. Miss 5 chose her own top and skirt and I think she's got her Dad's sense on colour coordination, so tu yg tak matching langsung kaler her top and skirt, hehehehe. While I think Miss 9 got my sense of colour match, tu yg ayu aje, wehkehkehkehkeh.

Then semalam as always, sent Miss 9 to Guides while we went shopping. After doing the normal daily household chores yang tak pernah habis2, it's time already to cook dinner. We invited some friends over for dinner last night so kenalah masak yang best sikit kan ;-). But the other half said, masak mee kari with loads of seafood and ayam pun kira best jugak. Even though baru aje we all makan mee kari a few days ago, but dia dah teringin balik nak makan, hehehe. So, lagilah senang kerja I macam tu since tinggal beli aje the mee kari paste and masak mee bukannya lama sgt and susah sangat kan :-). But sian pulak the guests, sebab makan mee kari aje malam tadi. Takpelah kan, next time ye kita buat BBQ pulak ;-).

And since pagi tu I managed to snag a really good deal on placemats and coasters baru at the shop, I had the chance to use them masa dinner tu. Nampak cantik aje my dining table with the new placemats and coasters :-). I don't really like table cloth that much, tu yg my dining table selalunya bare aje. For me, lagi senang nak lap meja hari2 dari basuh table cloth hari2. Betul tak? I got this 14 piece placemat coaster set for $10 down from $50, sape yang tak nak kan and they look so sweet as well.

Miss 9 just loves playing with Sheri's daughter because she said, the baby is not annoying like Miss 5! But she doesn't want another brother or sister, she just likes to play with someone else's baby because she can always return them back when she gets tired playing with them , ha...ha...ha.... Kalau adik sendiri, I guess you are stuck with them for life kan!

And pagi tadi after breakfast and spending loads of money at Bunnings, we did some more gardening, well more of planting seeds, repotting our seedlings and trimming the rosemary bushes and the lemon tree. I let the Little Misses plant some watermelon seeds, tak tau lah boleh grow or not. We won't be able to harvest the fruits until 12 weeks from now anyway. We also planted silverbeets and spring onions and repotted some chilli plants and daun kesum to give away. What a busy weekend kan. We are now definitely exhausted and will spend the rest of the day not doing anything, hehehehe......

We bought this plant memang cari nak yang will trail onto the ground. Can't remember the name but now memang dah trailing abis! Macam rambut Cousin It on the Addam's family aje but the flowers are really pretty purple.

This is the thing that cost us a lot of money at Bunnings. It's an anaerobic indoor composter which is a bin where we put all our food scrap and put 'bokashi' in it and it will turn the food scrap into compost which we can put into the garden. Lebih kurang macam worm farm lah but without the smell and the flies. We used to have a worm farm composter in the garden when we were living in Adelaide but bau dia and the flies yang hurung dia tu sometimes a bit too much to take.

Why do we do this you may ask? Well, I guess since we normally cook and eat at home so memang lah we all generate loads of food scrap daily. Rasa sayang aje nak buang masuk tong sampah when we know we can turn it into compost to put in the garden. Tak payah lah susah payah nak beli banyak2 soil and plant food setiap kali nak bercucuk tanam kan. Dah lah sekarang ni ekonomi dunia tengah in recession so anything to help cut the cost of fresh food that we buy is good I guess. And also I guess, it helps reduce the landfill waste :-).

Wei, panjang giler entry hari ni... to make up for 2 days of malas I guess :-).

Penattt and mengantuk sangat2......... Esok aje lah ye..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......

Another inspection day done and over with, lega sikit, now we can 'rest' for another 3 months. Pagi tadi sebelum sent the Little Misses to school and pegi kerja, we did some last minute tidying up especially the bathrooms. Yelah, pagi2 mandi kan so lepas mandi tu kenalah lap2 the shower area and the bath tub so tak lah basah and comot for inspection, and susun cantik aje the towels, hehehe. Pastu, everyone pagi ni kena breakfast cereal sebab Mummy tak nak breadcrumbs from the toast to go everywhere. Mana sempat maa nak vacuum the dining area after breakfast! Well, the main reason is that I was too malas to slice the bread that the other half made last nite. Sebab the bread that he made is multigrain bread and bila nak slice using the normal bread knife, the crumbs will fly everywhere, sure lah messy nanti my pristine kitchen! Kalau hari lain, I don't mind slicing sebab takde inspection. Maybe I have to look out for the electric bread knife, I wonder if it'll produce less of a mess masa slicing? I still haven't sliced the bread yet sampai sekarang, hehehe..... Esok pagi ajelah :-).

When we left the house this morning, it was really neat, clean and TIDY but when I look around now, I can see things everywhere.... Sheeeshhhhh!!!!! Tak sempat pun satu hari the house remains tidy, dah bersepah a few things again. But since semalam dah bertungkus lumus mengemas rumah, tonite I don't care about the mess, I'm just going to ignore them! The other half is even worse than me, he's so oblivious to any mess in the house, kalau ada depan mata dia pun dia boleh tak nampak! He said, he sees things a bit 'slower' than me. He said I can see mess and dirt as soon as it appears while he can only see it bila dah menggunung! A bigger sheeeshh!!!
The Little Misses jangan cakaplah, they don't see mess, fullstop! :-). Bila Mummy dah membebel, barulah they can see the mess miraculously and pandai terus mengemas lepas tu! I'm such a mean Mum, ha..ha..ha....
