Another cuti2 Malaysia post

Sambung balik kisah cuti2 Msia ye.

Masa we all kat Msia a month ago, boleh katakan setiap petang akan hujan lebat giler2 nya.

Siap dengan ribut petir lagi tu.

For people i.e The Other Half and the girls yang membesar in countries yang jarang ada ribut petir ni, so bila ada ribut petir rasa macam excited sangat2 lah.

Setiap hujan and flash flood kalau boleh dia nak ambik gambar, hahahaha….

Masa ni we were on the way berjalan kaki nak cari taxi balik ke hotel, sempat lagi tu berenti kejap semata2 nak ambik gambar ni.

Semua jakun tengok flash flooding you!

Nasib baik ada walkway so tak lah basah kuyup we all menunggu mamat ni ambik gambar, hehehe…

Masa ni on the way nak pergi dinner….

Giler jam sebab hujan lebat.

We were stuck here for so long, about 30 minutes untuk bergerak a few hundred metres aje!

(well, so long for our standard lah yang traffic jam 5 minute pun dah gelisah, hahahaha).

And on the day we all decided to go jalan2 sekitar Pasar Seni, Chinatown and Masjid India, it was raining really heavily as well…

So, we all lepak2 lah kat food court kat Pasar Seni tu sementara tunggu hujan reda sikit.

Sambil minum petang and makan this shaved ice dessert.

I cant remember what they are called. We’ve got it here in Perth as well.

Lepas reda sikit, we all pun jalan2 lah sekitar Chinatown and Masjid Jamek area…

We did our touristy thing again, jalan kaki from Pasar Seni to Chinatown to the Indian area around there and then to the Malay section sekitar masjid Jamek pulak.

Masa ni hujan dah reda sikit but still drizzling a bit.

But Mat Saleh tourists kan, apa dia kisah .

Kat kedai jual barang kering ni pun nak ambik gambar, hahaha…

Sangat lah tourist nya kan!

Punyalah basah the jalan. Lencun selipar Ipanema I, hikhikhik….

But still ada time nak singgah beli barang sambil tawar menawar dengan abang La.

Very blurry tapi ok lah dari takde kan .

First time I sampai area ni.

Ni dekat dengan stesen LRT Masjid Jamek.

Ada banyak tudung yang dijual murah2 so apa lagi, I pun sambar lah berhelai2 untuk stock bertahun2, hahaha….

Bila dah beli tudung, kenalah beli brooches kan.

Murah! Murah!

Up close and personal with the birds

When we were in Msia, we went to a few places we’ve never been before.

We went to Bird Park (we’ve only been there once when Miss 14 was only 1+ years old.) so memang dah lama sgt2 lah.

We went to Aquaria which we’ve also been to once before about 4+ years ago kot.

We went to Pusat Sains Negara which we’ve never been to.

The girls really enjoyed spending time at these places.

Memang berbaloi lah pergi.

At least diaorang tau yang kat KL tu bukan setakat ada Petrosains aje and bukan setakat ada shopping malls aje, hahahahaha….

So, layan lah ye a few photos I took at these places.

And guess what?

We were the typical Mat Saleh tourists that day.

We walked all the way from our hotel to the Bird Park and walked back!

Memang we did a lot of walking that day!

Nearly nak sesat but nasib baik tak sesat.

The girls were really good walaupun kena jalan jauh, tak komplen penat langsung.

They were so happy kat Bird Park tu sebab dapat bagi makan ikan, dapat bagi makan burung, dapat bergambar dgn burung.

Kalau dah namanya pergi taman burung, kenalah ambik gambar dgn burung kan.

Dua2 perasan hensem tu yang sampai nak berlaga kepala .

I cant remember the name of this birds but they are really pretty with their shocking orange colour.

Burung ni pun cantik with the gorgeous blue tapi sangat lah evil rupanya with the red eyes kan.

Kat Msia pun ada rainbow lorikeet ni. Cantik tapi pencuri buah anggur! hahahaha.

Dah puas bagi makan kat burung, bagi makan kat ikan pulak.

Muka orang yang dah kepenatan sangat2 berjalan kaki tak berhenti, hehehe….

Balik dari Bird Park tu, we all lepak tepi pool sampai suntanned habis .

The friendly meetings

Sambung cerita2 Msia lagi ye.

Cuti balik kali ni I dapat berkesempatan jumpa a few blogger friends.

Ada yang dah a few times jumpa and ada yang baru first time jumpa.

Tapi walaupun baru first time jumpa, bila borak2, macam dah kenal lama!

Memang riuh rendah shopping mall tu, hahahaha.

First meeting, on that Monday at KLCC.

Lepas aje check in kat hotel, we all pun pergi ke KLCC.

Berjumpa lah dengan puan2 blogger ni….

Dari kiri Zarin, Shidah, Rima, Sonia, Asilah and me .

Kecoh San Fransisco coffee house tu!

The Other Half and the girls kejap aje kat situ, pastu diaorang pergi ronda2 around that area kejap sebab bosan tunggu we all tak habis2 gelak and borak.

Bila diaorang dtg balik, masih lagi tak habis borak, hahahahaha.

Sonia and Miss 9. Walaupun dua2 budak ni mixed mat saleh and jawa tapi Sonia muka mat saleh habis while Miss 9 pulak muka tukar2 hari2, hahaha.

On that day, bila duduk sebelah Sonia, nampak lah muka Miss 9 yang sangat melayu kan .

And then, that Friday towards the end of our stay in KL, we went to KLCC again.

Pagi pergi Aquaria and tengah hari jumpa another blogger.

Jumpa blogger Mulan kat food court. The hubbies pergi solat Jumaat, we all duduk borak2

Dari jauh we all berdua datang, kat KL jugak berjumpa, hehehehe.

And then on Saturday, jumpa pulak friends from IG.

Deana and Zarin again.

Alhamdulillah dapat jumpa all these people.

Memang seronok borak2 and gelak ketawa with them.

Thank you so much ye sebab sudi jumpa dangan I and family.

The cuti2 KL-part I

Alright…

Sambungan cerita cuti2 Msia lagi.

After our stay kat kampung tu and jumpa all my siblings, we went back to KL for our ‘cuti2 KL’ pulak.

My adik dropped us off at the Sungai Buloh commuter station or Stesen komuter Sungai Buloh on that Monday morning.

Sepanjang2 we all cuti2 KL tu, we mostly used public transports and the hotel shuttle van.

Commuters and LRTs all the way sampai dah terer we all guna and dah basi muka we all tu kat KL Sentral!

Hari2 pergi KL Sentral utk ambik LRT or komuter.

What other stations did we go to masa kat Msia?

We were at KL Sentral, Midvalley komuter station, Kerinchi LRT station, Pasar Seni LRT station, Masjid Jamek LRT station, KLCC station, Subang Jaya komuter station and Sg Buloh komuter station.

Hahahahahaha……

My Adik sorang ni kerja dgn one suruhanjaya ni and he said kat Msia, the perception is that, kalau kamu naik public transports, it means you are not that well off.

Sangat susah nak suruh orang ‘kaya’ naik public transports.

I guess it’s different with a lot of countries yang segala macam orang dari kaya ke miskin naik public transports.

I would rather naik LRT and monorel and komuter kat Msia tu dari naik teksi yang mencekik darah tak guna meter walau terang2 kata guna meter and tak boleh haggle!

Even The Other Half and the girls pun suka naik the komuter and the LRTs, hehehe.

Anywayyyy…….

While in KL, we stayed at the Best Western Premier Dua Sentral hotel.

It’s a newish hotel so semua dalam tu masih baru lagi lah.

We took the suite so the girls were so happy that they got a double bed each just for themselves and their own room.

You all nak bising ke, nak tengok tv ke, tak lah kacau Mum and Dad kan .

And as usual, The Other half checking out the bathroom, making sure everything is in order, hehehehe….

Our room where we could do whatever we want without disturbing the girls , hahahahaha.

And the gym which we didn’t use sebab we were on holiday so no exercise during holidays mah!

Walaupun the view is amazing tapi still tidak berjaya membuat I masuk the gym, hahaha.

Cuma boleh membuatkan saya ambik gambar camhoring aje sebab cermin merata2, kahkahkah….

And the infinity pool where the girls spent a lot of time at sampai kan my kakak kata Miss 14 sekarang dah sebijik rupa cina bagan sebab dah hitam legam, hahahaha….

But the best bit about the hotels in Malaysia is the buffet breakfast!

Where we can eat everything without having to worry, hahahaha.

Walaupun in Msia, she still missed her sandwiches so she made a sandwich for breakfast!

While Miss 14 pulak would go straight to the cheese platter to get crackers and camembert/brie for her breakfast everyday!

Ni muka budak bosan menunggu Mak Pak dia tak sudah2 makan, hahaha

And Miss 9 found a friend in 2 of the waiters at the breakfast.

They were so enamoured with Miss 9 because they said she was always smiling and so polite.

Tiap2 pagi mesti akan tunggu we all datang and would say hello to Miss 9 and borak2 dengan dia, hehehe….

Masa nak balik tu, Miss 9 gave them some chocs and the waiter came up to our room when we were waiting to check out to give some fridge magnets to the girls as souvenirs.

Siap ambik gambar sekali, hehehehe…..

Nasib baik dua2 waiters tu dah ada families and anak, or else risau I, hahaha .
