A make-ahead dinner

Another good meal to cook while waiting….

Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steamed veges.

You can prepare the meatloaf earlier in the afternoon, put it in the fridge and then put it in the oven to cook about 40 minutes before dinner time.

You can sit and wait while it’s baking…..

Same goes with the mashed potato. You can prepare it earlier as well and just reheat it in the microwave before serving.

The steamed veges can also be chopped up a few hours before and then just steam it right before dinner time.

Yang penting, kena pandai time planning, baru lah tak rasa kelam kabut nak buat segala benda Open-mouthed smile.

  12. Yummeeehhhhh..!!!! Nak sangat i try buat meatloaf ni tp ada je halangan.. Aiyaayaaaa.. Ni boss ada gout so meat for meal kena limit sangat.. Dia pulak hentam je meat kat luat masa lunch.. So when la i can cook meat.. Daging korban ada sekilo lebih lg ni kot..

    Blh bikin frozen tak meatloaf ni?

    memang jimat masa. Kalau masak nasi, kena masak 2-3 jenis lauk pauk and sayur kan :-)

    tu yg saya tiap2 hari tanya hubby nak makan apa for dinner tp kdg2 lain dirancang, lain jugak yg saya masak, hehehe

    lain kali beli aje, pastu simpan dlm freezer. Bila teringin, terus keluar and reheat and makan :-)

    senang aje nak buat dia, lebih kurang burger or rissoles. Tapi isntead of grill, masak dlm oven so stove top tak berkecah,, hehehe

    rasa dia ala2 burger but more moist sbb burger kena grill while meatloaf you bake. I lagi suka burger sbb I suka the burnt grilled bits, hehehe

    banyak jugak daging korban ye. Susah lah mcm tu kalau hubby ada gout, memang kena lah control the meat ye. I rasa you might be able to freeze cooked meatloaf tapi kena cling wrap ketat2 and kemas2 dulu so tak masuk 'air' in the freezer.
