Food I cooked after cuti2

So many things to do by tomorrow evening and so little time especially with sore throat, runny nose, slight fever and continuous sneezing. I just feel like lying down in bed the whole day…..

The Little Misses and I lah yang dapat head cold first which we caught from my nephew. Seminggu lebih main2 dengan dia from when he was sick until he was better. But we only got the symptoms on Monday night tu, when we were on the plane. Pastu dengan tak cukup tidur and penatnya lagi, terus lah dia jadi makin teruk.

Rumah I sekarang ni dah macam kilang tissue aje, penuh dengan kotak tissues everywhere and all the rubbish bins pun penuh dengan used tissues, hehehe. Semua orang pegang kotak tissues jalan kemana2, hahaha.

Takpe takpe, hopefully bila sakit ni, selera pun kurang lah sikit so boleh lah I get rid of the extra weight that I gained while in Msia, heeee….

Nasib baik lah tak naik sampai 2kg you, kalau tak, mau pengsan I nak turunkan balik!

Since I tak larat nak masak, we all just makan fish and wedges aje. Everything shop bought from frozen and tinggal masuk oven aje. Sape2 mengada2 komplen, masak sendiri!

Wedges kena makan dengan sour cream and sweet chilli sauce, baru lah sedap Smile.

Last night pulak, I made mixed seafood pasta.

I bought fresh papardelle pasta (which is really wide fettucine type pasta).

Then I marinated the mixed seafood in a mixture of minced garlic, minced sun-dried tomatoes in oil, minced capers, salt and dried chilli flakes for about 10 minutes. Pastu stir fry the seafood in olive oil with broccoli and cherry tomatoes until masak.  Bila dah masak, add the cooked pasta to it and then mix them well until rasa semua sebati.

Bila nak makan baru tabur dengan ground pepper and renjis dengan extra virgin olive oil. EVOO ni I only use in food that I dont cook like salad or on already cooked food or as dipping. Kalau untuk masak, I cuma guna light olive oil aje.

  2. kesiannya akak & the little misses...I dpt bayangkan mcamana keadaannya bila semua org pegang kotak tissue ke mana2. k LG, pemegang tongkol corn tu nampak mcm best jer...

    evoo tu i baru dengar yg tak elok sgt utk masak/saute etc... utk renjis2 je kan... hhmmm... menu renjis2 lah lepas ni..

    corn cob holder/pemegang tongkol jagung tu kita cucukkan kat hujung jagung so bila kita makan, kita tak sentuh jagung, cuma pegang kat holder tu aje. Senang lah sikit nak menggigit butir jagung tu :-)
